Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: Chicken Vegetable Stir Fry – This is the best kind of weeknight dinner recipe because it takes minutes to make. Plus, it’s veggie packed, but your kids will actually eat it. This also makes for a great lunch the next day!
- Side Dish:
- Asian Cucumber Salad – The perfect compliment to this Asian-inspired chicken stir fry. You can prep this ahead of time for an even quicker side.
- Yum Yum Sauce – You’ll think you’re at a Hibachi grill when you taste this!
- Spicy Mayo – This is another great sauce to drizzle over your chicken.
- Rice, brown rice, cauliflower rice to lighten it up, or quinoa
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Crock Pot Sirloin Tip Roast—This family friendly meal is a flavor packed, juicy, tender weeknight dinner that you will love!
- Side Dish:
- Grandma’s Easy Macaroni and Cheese — This might be the best mac you’ve ever had. It’s easy, ooey-gooey and delicious!
- Sautéed Garlic Mushrooms — I have a friend who didn’t like mushrooms until she tried these. Seriously! I think it’s the garlic butter 😉
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Spinach and Artichoke Chicken — The fact that you only need one dish for this is probably all you need to know, but if you like spinach and artichoke dip, you will surely call this recipe a KEEPER after trying it!
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Parmesan Broccoli – This is my families favorite way to eat broccoli!
- Italian Quinoa Salad — This is very easy to assemble and feel free to add or subtract anything depending on what you have in your refrigerator.
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Grilled BBQ Chicken Breast —We try to grill at least once a week especially as the days start to get a little warmer. This is our favorite BBQ chicken recipe for the grill. *save leftover chicken for tomorrows dinner*
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Smashed Potatoes– Get the flavor of french fries in these oven baked potatoes.
- Broccoli Cauliflower Salad – This light salad can be prepped ahead, and is extra delicious with the addition of crispy bacon!
FRIDAY
- Main dish: BBQ Chicken Nachos—Using the leftovers from Thursday to make this family favorite is perfect on a Friday.Spread chips over a baking sheet sprinkle shredded cheese over the chips. Add rinsed and drained black beans and sweet corn and top with chopped BBQ chicken and more cheese. Bake at 425˚F for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and nachos are heated through. Top with a drizzle of BBQ sauce and your choice of sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo.
- Dessert – No Bake Cookies — I think no bake cookies are so underrated. They are seriously perfect when you’re craving chocolate!
APPETIZER
- Crock Pot Party Meatballs — Crock Pot Party Meatballs are a go to classic for entertaining or even just to munch on throughout the weekend.
