Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Mississippi Pot Roast– This is THE BEST Mississippi Pot Roast Recipe. With just minutes of prep, this this the most easy and delicious way to start off the week! The comforting flavors in this recipe are among some of my all time favorite.
- Side Dish:
- Mashed Potatoes– Mashed potatoes are perfect for making a bed o serve the roast right on top of. It gives you a great place for all those drippings to soak in!
- Roasted Vegetables– This is the easiest and absolute tastiest way to make veggies in my opinion!.
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Green Chile Chicken Casserole– This recipe takes literal minutes of prep to get from the fridge to the oven! It has one of the most popular flavors on our website and is a huge crowd pleaser!
- Side Dish:
- Toppings- Black bean corn salsa, Sour Cream, Salsa – This homemade version is so EASY, Guacamole, Shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, chopped cilantro
- Rice- Try Cilantro Lime Rice or just plain white or brown rice
- Beans- Try crock pot refried beans, or these easy black beans (made from canned beans!)
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Italian Sausage Tortellini– This easy pasta dish is made in minutes and filled with fresh and super cozy flavors. This is the epitome of a delicious and easy family pleasing weeknight dinner
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Bread– This are quick, classic, and so delicious! Highly recommend.
- Tomato Mozzarella Salad– This salad is fast, delicious, and saves well if you have leftovers!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Mississippi Roast Sliders– Cut sliders in half. Pile roast on the bottoms of the rolls. Add mozzarella, provolone, or fontina cheese. Top the rolls and brush with melted butter mixed with garlic salt, oregano, and minced onion. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sandwiches are heated through.
- Sides:
- Baked Potato Wedges– Gives you that French Fry vibe with a lighter healthier baked option!
- Side Salad with Ranch– This homemade ranch takes 5 minutes to make and is the BEST! It will 100% take your salad to the next level!

FRIDAY
- Main Dish: Crockpot Loaded Potato Soup– One of the all-time most popular recipes on my site- this easy potato soup recipe is a hit because it is amazingly delicious, but so easy to make!!
- Side:
- Chicken Pasta Caesar Salad– So simple, but so delicious! These flavors make quite the delicious side and can be a fantastic lunch the next day!
- Side:
- Dessert – Soft and Thick Sugar Cookies– These big, thick, bakery style cookies are a favorite, especially around the holidays. I love them best topped with my buttercream frosting!!
APPETIZER
- Crockpot Party Meatballs– This classic party appetizer always is around during the holiday season! With tangy flavors and the ease of a crock pot it is perfect whether you need to bring to a pot luck or have something your family can graze on throughout the day!
