Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs– This brand new recipe is already getting rave reviews! One reader says “TOTAL hit for dinner! Made 6 servings for 3 people and there were no leftovers! Fantastic! Will add this to our weekly meals!!”. With only 1 pan and 6 ingredients, it is perfect for a busy night!
  • Side Dish:
    • Rice– My #1 pick for this dish. You can do simple white or brown rice, or if you want to make it extra hearty, you can try our popular chicken fried rice or steak fried rice. You can also use cauliflower rice for a lighter option.
    • Green Beans– Try either the classic or asian style of these roasted green beans.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Crockpot Mexican Shredded Beef– What I love most about this recipe is that each person can easily customize it for their taste preferences. For us, the kids get it served in tortillas, and the adults get it burrito bowl style.
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Street Corn Casserole– One of our all time favorites!
    • Toppings- Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Salsa –  This homemade version is so EASY, Guacamole, Shredded, cheddar cheese, chopped cilantro

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Cajun Chicken Pasta–  This creamy pasta is so quick and easy and SOOOOO GOOD! It can have a small kick depending on the cajun seasoning you use.
  • Side Dish:
    • Garlic Roasted Veggies– This are quick, classic, and so delicious! Highly recommend.
    • Garlic Bread– The best recipe!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Perfect Baked Chicken Tenders  – Comfort food without the guilt! This dish gives you all the flavor of a Big Mac, but made in a skillet at home in minutes. You can eat it as a salad (like me!) or on a bun (like my kids) so it is customizable for each person.
    • Sides:
      • Garlic Smashed Potatoes– Get the flavor of french fries in these oven baked potatoes!
      • Veggies and Ranch– These are great to snack on before the main meal or give a little extra wholesome boost to the dinner. The homemade ranch takes 5 minutes to make and is the BEST! You have to try it!

FRIDAY

  • Main Dish: Loaded Potato Soup– This soup is a reader favorite and can be made in the slow cooker or Instant pot. Serve it up with a variety of toppings and let everyone make their own bowl topped with their choice of toppings.
    • Side:
      • Toppings- cheese, onion, bacon, sour cream, etc.
  • Dessert – Caramel Snickerdoodles– If you love Snickerdoodles, these take it up another delicious notch. They are a MUST TRY!

APPETIZER

  • Green Chile Cheddar Dip– Grab these with a bag of chips and you have the beginning of a delicious day.
