Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Italian Sausage Tortellini– This is the perfect family pasta dish. It has tender Italian Sausage, lots of veggies, and a rich red sauce. Best part? It comes together in minutes!
- Side Dish:
- Pesto Roasted Vegetables – These are fast and oh, so delicious.
- Side salad- take the extra 5 minutes to make this homemade balsamic vinaigrette. You won’t regret it!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Crockpot Green Chile Chicken– This easy slow cooker meal is packed with flavor. I like to serve it “burrito bowl” style but you can use it in tacos, burritos, nachos, etc.
- Side Dish:
- Rice – you can do white or brown rice, or make cilantro lime rice
- Black Beans – Make it quick from the can, or if you plan ahead, make this crock pot beans recipe!
- Toppings- some of my favorites are cheddar cheese, sour cream, corn salsa, guacamole, and shredded lettuce
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Cajun Butter Steak– This recipe has a little kick, but it is OH SO GOOD. Fast to make and packed with flavor, you might eat every last crumb of this meal. Bonus- I love to make wraps, salads, and on the go meals if there are any leftovers.
- Side Dish:
- Mashed Potatoes– This recipe is super simple and extra creamy
- Baked Asparagus– The classic way. Simple and delicious!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Big Mac Skillet – Best way to have take out without the take out! This dish gives you all the flavor of a Big Mac, but made in a skillet at home in minutes. You can eat it as a salad (like me!) or on a bun (like my kids) so it is customizable for each person.
- Sides:
- Garlic Smashed Potatoes– Get the flavor of french fries in these oven baked potatoes!
- Veggies and Ranch– These are great to snack on before the main meal or give a little extra wholesome boost to the dinner.
- Sides:
FRIDAY
- Main Dish: Loaded Chicken Cobb Salad– This loaded salad has all the good stuff! Layers of chicken, bacon, and tons of veggies. It is hearty enough to get you full, but light enough not to weigh you down. I also love it if you are feeding a crowd because you can make a big platter easily and it looks super pretty!
- Side:
- Chips
- tomato soup– Fresh, simple, and delicious.
- Side:
- Dessert – Chocolate Peanut Butter No Bakes- I absolutely crave these when it has been too long. I love the rich flavor combined with the chewy texture of the oatmeal. So irresistible!
APPETIZER
- Layered Greek Dip– My all time favorite summer dip. I could eat this stuff all day every day.
