Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets– This wholesome twist on a classic is not only delicious, but can be made super quick for s busy night. The whole family wins when it is chicken nugget night! (check out the leftover recipes at the bottom of the post too!! YUM!)
- Side Dish:
- Veggies and dip – Celery, carrots and cucumbers are a perfect match. Have ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing or both for dipping!
- Garlic Smashed Potatoes– My absolute favorite way to eat potatoes.
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Loaded Taco Salad– This is one of my favorite dinners. My oldest doesn’t love salad so we do the same thing as a wrap for him.
- Side Dish:
- Toppings – Guacamole and pico de gallo are a must for me!
- Black beans– This crock pot version is super yummy and makes a ton!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Chicken Pomodoro– This quick one skillet meal is super fast, but you actually make the most delicious sauce from scratch! It is hard to believe something SO DELICIOUS could be so easy.
- Side Dish:
- Pasta– I like to toss it with a little butter, garlic salt, and parmesan
- Baked Asparagus– The classic way. Simple and delicious!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Southwest Pork Chops – These are not only super delicious, but when served with a scoop of mango salsa and some cilantro lime rice, it is an over the top delicious meal.
- Sides:
- Mango Salsa– Get the flavor of french fries in these oven baked potatoes!
- Cilantro lime rice– These are great to snack on before the main meal or give a little extra wholesome boost to the dinner.
- Sides:
FRIDAY
- Main Dish: Hawaiian Steak– Use your favorite cut with this marinade. We got this recipe from one of our favorite little restaurants we used to frequent when we were young and stationed in the middle of nowhere. It was SO GOOD!
- Side:
- Roasted Green Beans
- Sriracha Coleslaw– Fresh, simple, and delicious.
- Side:
- Dessert – Cinnamon Swirl Cake– The bonus on this one is that it doubles as breakfast!
APPETIZER
- Spinach + Feta Dip– This cold dip is perfect for making ahead and snacking on with friends or family. It goes well with veggies, crackers and pita chips.
