Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Salsa Verde Chicken Bake– Only 3 ingredients plus spices for this super fast and SUPER delicious weeknight dinner! Tender chicken, tangy salsa and of course you top it off with ooey gooey cheese for a weeknight dinner that the family will love!
  • Side Dish:
    • Cilantro Lime Rice– This fast side is our at home version of the well loved chipotle rice!
    • Mexican Style Veggies – These are quick and easy and one of our favorite ways to eat vegetables.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Baked Chicken Tacos– This has been the biggest hit with my kids lately, with them requesting I make it again at least once a week! These can be made extra fast with leftovers from the Salsa Verde chicken, or rotisserie chicken and are everything a taco should be with a toasty crispy shell, tender seasoned chicken, and melty delicious cheese, and toppings to your preference. The best!!
  • Side Dish:
    • Refried beans– This easy crock pot recipe can cook all day, or jus grab a can and heat it up.
    • Mexican Style Rice– We love this simple recipe! It turns out perfect every time!

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Tuscan Pork Chops– This is one of those recipes that is so good it feels like I am eating food from a restaurant, but really I can’t believe it was so easy and I made it kind of dinners. If you haven’t tried this one yet, put it on your menu asap!
  • Side Dish:
    • Garlic Parmesan Broccoli– Everyone loves broccoli when you make it like this!!
    • Side salad with creamy Italian dressing– This dressing takes 5 min to make and is SO GOOD!!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Blackened Chicken Salad -This loaded salad is FULL of flavor and great for an at home dinner, or one that can be packed when you need to eat on the go. When we do salad, we don’t do wimpy ones, we do BIG, LOADED, FLAVOR PACKED salads that make you feel satisfied with your meal!
    • Sides:
      • Grilled Sandwich- If you want a little extra something, use the leftovers from your Salsa Chicken Bake to make a grilled sandwich!

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Philly Cheesesteak Casserole – This highly rated casserole gives you the yummy philly cheesesteak vibe, but is make quick and easy with ground beef. Perfect for serving up on hoagie rolls, or eating on shredded lettuce in a bowl to keep it light, it can be as versatile as your imagination.
    • Side:
      • Baked Potato Wedges– All the french fry vibes… but lighter!
      • Veggie and ranch– I really recommend my homemade buttermilk ranch for a real treat!
  • Dessert – Peanut Butter Swirl Bars– These are always a hit and rarely last longer than a day. These are mild and sweet combing the best flavors for a chewy delicious dessert bar!

APPETIZER

  • Black Bean and Corn Salsa– This is the perfect snacking appetizer! I like to make a big batch so we can have it with chips, but also pile it on leftover chicken, tacos, or any dish we may be having that needs a little extra!
