Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Italian Turkey and Vegetable Skillet– Not only is this SO DELICIOUS, but it is quick, easy, only takes one skillet, and has super family friendly flavors. You can make this on the busiest weeknight and feel like you totally nailed dinner time!
  • Side Dish:
    • Pesto Cheese Bread – So quick, easy, and the flavor is just perfect to go with this meal.
    • Grains – Serve with your favorite- white rice, brown rice, or quinoa.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Sheet Pan Fajitas- These are the best because you get all the great flavor of chicken fajitas, in a quick and easy sheet pan dinner! Fajitas are the meal we eat more than any other dinner at our house because the every single person love them, plus the leftovers make another winning dinner later in the week.
  • Side Dish:
    • A traditional fajita set up has: Mexican rice, Refried beans, shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, shredded cheese (in tex mex style fajitas) you can use them all, or just what you have on hand.
    • Flour tortillas

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Spaghetti Squash and Meatballs– This crock pot recipe is a winner because EVERYTHING cooks together! Also, I love this because I can serve our meatballs over the spaghetti squash, and cook up some pasta to give the kids with sauce and meatballs.
  • Side Dish:
    • Roasted Veggies– This is my go to recipe- so yummy!!
    • Side salad with creamy Italian dressing– This dressing takes 5 min to make and is SO GOOD!!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Chicken Fajita Nachos -If I am being completely transparent, my kids probably love this even more than the fajitas the first night! These are simple to make, fast, and a sure fire way to have the whole family really enjoy dinner time.
    • Sides:
      • Jalapeno Ranch– This is my all time favorite thing to eat with the nachos! It takes about 5 minutes to make, and may just change your life!
      • Corn Salsa– I love this easy salsa because it packs in the veggies and is the perfect flavor compliment to the nachos.

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Spinach Bacon Quiche – The perfect Friday meal because it is easy, delicious, and the leftovers work perfect for a lazy weekend breakfast, brunch or filling snack.
    • Side:
      • Million Dollar Bacon– This is THE BEST bacon! You haven’t lived if you haven’t made it!
      • Fruit
  • Dessert – Lemon Meltaway Cookies– These are probably one of the best cookies I have ever had and they have developed quite the following! Have you tried them yet?!

APPETIZER

  • Marinated Mozzarella– I could eat these all day, every day! I have had tons of friends ask for the recipe, so even though it is simple, I went ahead and gave it its own post to make it easy to share.
