Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Lasagna Chicken Bake– This dinner is full of tender chicken breast and lots of cheesy, saucy goodness! I takes literal minutes of prep and brings all that delicious lasagna flavor to a quick and easy chicken dinner.
  • Side Dish:
    • Garlic Roasted Veggies – These are fast and oh, so delicious.
    • Garlic Bread– Never too much garlic in an Italian style meal!

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Tex-Mex Chicken Fajitas– I was born and raised and in Texas, and this is my all time favorite way to make fajitas! I recently had a friend tell me “This is the best chicken I have EVER made! My husband is going to be so excited to eat dinner tonight!” Make sure to save some leftovers for dinner later this week!
  • Side Dish:
    • Tortillas – flour are traditional, but you can use corn as a gluten free option, or lettuce wraps to keep it healthy and lighter.
    • Fajita set up – The traditional restaurant style set up for fajitas includes, rice, refried beans, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. I like to add shredded cheese to the plate too, but you can choose what ever you like!

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole–  The ultimate family friendly casserole (or hot dish depending where you are from!) It is loaded with ground beef, cheesy, green beans, and the most delicious sauce, then topped off with crispy tater tots to win over all the kids at the table.
  • Side Dish:
    • Roasted Broccoli– The best way to make broccoli IMO!
    • Pasta Salad– This is yummy, easy, and the leftovers make great lunches!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Baked Italian Sausage and Peppers – We made over this recipe to keep all the classic delicious taste, but in more of a quick and easy dump and bake kinda way for the busiest nights.
    • Sides:
      • Garlic Mashed Potatoes– I love to combine all the flavor in this dish on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes!
      • Pesto Cheese Bread– Simple recipe that is just SO delicious.

FRIDAY

  • Main Dish: Chicken Fajita Nachos– My kids ALL TIME FAVORITE DINNER – Use the leftovers from Tuesday to start this easy Friday meal! You won’t be disappointed!
    • Side:
      • Guacamole
      • Easy Black Bean Corn Salsa
  • Dessert – Lemon Meltaway Cookies– These are the most popular cookie on my site, and for a good reason!! They a full of lemony flavor and just melt in your mouth. YUM!

APPETIZER

  • Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets– These are a hit with everyone around here! They can be a meal, but we love to make them as an appetizer and serve with tooth picks for grazing with dipping sauces like our homemade ranch dressing or honey mustard sauce.
