Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Mango Salsa Chicken– This dish is our family’s ALL TIME FAVORITE summer recipe. As soon as the weather warms up this goes on the menu and repeats all summer long! Even if it isn’t quite as warm as you want yet, this one will at least have you feeling like it!
  • Side Dish:
    • Cilantro Lime Rice – A must for serving.
    • Black Beans– This is a bonus side that helps the meal go father and is a perfect pairing. 

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Cheesy Taco Skillet– One pan FAST dinner that everyone loves. The best part is that each person can customize their plate just how they like it!
  • Side Dish:
    • Bases– Shredded lettuce, tortillas, chips, rice, etc
    • Toppings – Tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, diced olives, shredded cheese, jalapeno ranch, etc!

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Pork Tenderloin with Garlic Sauce–  This is one of those meals that feels fancy, but really is just too easy! Transform a basic pork tenderloin into a flavor-packed tender, juicy cut drizzled in a mouth-watering garlic sauce, using every day ingredients and just one pan!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mashed Potatoes– This recipe is super simple and extra creamy
    • Baked Asparagus– The classic way. Simple and delicious!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Casserole  – Comfort food at its finest! This dish gets rave reviews from readers and might be the EASIEST recipe of all time!
    • Sides:
      • Garlic Bread– Get the flavor of french fries in these oven baked potatoes!
      • Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad– These are great to snack on before the main meal or give a little extra wholesome boost to the dinner.

FRIDAY

  • Main Dish: Easy Chicken Cacciatore– Like the classic, but way less time and effort! This dish is made all in one casserole dish and packs in the flavors of the original.
    • Side:
      • Pasta
      • Side salad- serve with creamy Italian or balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Dessert – White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies– These pack in those summer flavors in the most thick, chewy, delicious cookie ever!

APPETIZER

  • Homemade Blender Salsa- This is another recipe I like to make in a big batch at the beginning of summer and let the kids eat on it whenever they are hungry.
