Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Mississippi Chicken– This is a go on the regular rotation kinda recipe! 5 ingredients + a crock pot is all you need for this simple and delicious dinner idea!
- Side Dish:
- Buns – My kids favorite way to eat these is on a toasted bun. Also, some like to top with a slice of provolone cheese!
- Bacon Ranch Broccoli Salad– This easy salad can be prepped in advance, and the kids LOVE the flavors!!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Mexican Beef & Rice Skillet– All the delicious Tex-Mex inspired flavors come together in one skillet. With ground beef, tender rice, tomatoes, seasoning, beans, and of course cheese!
- Side Dish:
- Jalapeno Ranch – Don’t be scared by the name, this is my kids FAVORITE and adding a drizzle of this to the top of the skillet is SO AMAZING!! Highly recommend.
- Mexican Roasted Veggies – These are a great wholesome addition!
- Cornbread – Try my quick Mexican style cornbread, OR our homemade buttermilk cornbread!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: – Chicken and Stuffing Casserole– Packed with tender shredded chicken (I use rotisserie to make it easy) and veggies in a creamy dressing and topped with perfect savory stuffing, this casserole is the perfect easy chicken dinner for winter!
- Side Dish:
- Creamy Mashed Potatoes – Our go to mashed potato recipe.
- Oven Roasted Green Beans– My favorite is the garlic version for this dinner!!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Garlic Steak Bites Skillet – Maybe make Thursday feel a little fancy, even though, this recipe is one of the fastest on this week’s menu. The family loves these, they are quick, easy, so tasty, and feel, well… not like a Thursday!
- Sides:
- Italian Tortellini Salad– This quick pasta salad can be made in minutes and is one my kids will ask for seconds of!
- Garlic Parmesan Broccoli– This easy roasted broccoli is so good, you kinda forget it is a veggie!!
- Sides:
FRIDAY
- Main Dish: Baked Chicken Tenders– A quick way to make a family friendly meal a little more wholesome! This dinner is not only delicious but one our kids request again and again.
- Side:
- Baked Potato Wedges– This recipe is so easy and SO delicious!
- Honey Mustard Sauce– Seriously the BEST dip ever!!
- Side:
- Dessert – Cranberry Christmas Cake- This will be on my list to make ASAP because we love to enjoy it as dessert then again with as breakfast throughout Christmas week. We even have friends who stop by just to get a slice of this cake through out the holidays!
APPETIZER
- Marinated Mozzarella– This is another family favorite! It not only makes the best munchie, but also is fantastic to give as a gift if you package it up in a little mason jar.
