Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Cream of Mushroom Chicken– This creamy chicken is the perfect quick meal to start the week! I have been told that even picky eaters gobble this up!
- Side Dish:
- Mashed Potatoes– Mashed potatoes are perfect for making a bed o serve the roast right on top of. It gives you a great place for all those drippings to soak in!
- Roasted Vegetables– This is the easiest and absolute tastiest way to make veggies in my opinion!.
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Drumsticks– These are perfect for leading up to Thanksgiving because they are fast and reheat well for lunch or snacks through out the next day or two!
- Side Dish:
- Corn on the Cob- grab it fresh or frozen.
- Beans- Try these easy black beans (made from canned beans!)
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Baked Roast Beef Sliders– We are keeping it light tonight in anticipation of the big day tomorrow. BONUS- if you have leftovers they make a great light lunch before Thanksgiving dinner!
- Side Dish:
- Broccoli Cauliflower Salad– This is another side dish that can pull double duty for tomorrow!.
- Baked Potato Wedges– This salad is fast, delicious, and saves well if you have leftovers!
THURSDAY

FRIDAY
- Main Dish: LEFTOVERS– I like to make grilled sandwiches with turkey, white cheese, and cranberry sauce!!
- Dessert – Apple Pie with Cornmeal Crust– This pie takes a little time, but it is SO WORTH IT!! This is the best apple pie I have ever made, and I have been making it for years because there is just never anything better.
APPETIZER
- Crockpot Party Meatballs– This classic party appetizer always is around during the holiday season! With tangy flavors and the ease of a crock pot it is perfect whether you need to bring to a pot luck or have something your family can graze on throughout the day!
