Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Million Dollar Pork Chops– This is a reader FAVORITE with tender baked pork chops and a creamy dreamy cheese topping all in one dish!
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Roasted Vegetables – These can bake right alongside the pork chops.
- Rotini Pasta Salad– Love making this on Monday so that we can eat leftovers for lunch all week!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Crock Pot Chicken Tinga– This easy slow cooker version of the classic is packed with flavor and a little kick! It makes perfect tacos or bowls, and my personal favorite is topping it off with a little shredded cabbage and jalapeno ranch!
- Side Dish:
- Toppings – Try guacamole, sour cream, shredded cabbage or lettuce, pico de gallo, cheese, etc.
- Chips and salsa – This homemade salsa recipe is so easy to make in a blender, and you can freeze half for later!! Or get fancy and go with corn salsa, avocado mango salsa, or pineapple salsa
- Rice and beans– my picks are cilantro lime rice and crock pot black beans
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Ultra Creamy Chicken and Rice Casserole- My husband’s favorite casserole for years, this one couldn’t be easier and is a kid favorite too!
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Parmesan Broccoli– This recipe is super simple and our favorite way to eat broccoli!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Cheesy Lasagna Skillet – All the great flavor of Lasagna with none of the work! Best part is each person can customize how they want to eat it so it is perfect for families with special dietary needs or even picky eaters!
- Sides:
- Pasta– Use regular or a healthy alternative like zoodles or spaghetti squash!
- Garlic Bread– Nothing better to go with lasagna, and this is the BEST recipe.
- Sautéed Spinach– Quick and delicious side to get some veggies in!
- Sides:
FRIDAY
- Main Dish: Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad– This is absolutely the best summer recipe. It is light but hearty and will keep you full. You can eat it right away or take it in a container on the go. And it is a great way to get even picky eaters to enjoy salad!
- Dessert – Peanut Butter Swirl Bars– These are a retro recipe we have been making in my family for my whole life! They have a tender light peanut butter bar with the perfect swirl of rich chocolate going through them.
APPETIZER
- Loaded Taco Dip– We can’t ever get enough of this! It is always the first thing gone at the party!
