  • Turkey Club Sliders Recipe

These fresh and easy turkey and cheese sliders are fun to make AND eat! All you have to do is slice a sheet of one dozen Hawaiian Rolls in half horizontally, lay the bottom in your baking dish, and start building your turkey sliders.

After you add the mayo, turkey, bacon, and cheese, you brush the tops of the rolls and bake the turkey sliders in the oven until the meat and cheese are warmed through. From there, load them up with lettuce, onions, and tomatoes, and they’re ready to serve. I love how you can build these sliders like one huge sandwich, then pull the individual sliders off one at a time. So simple!

I can’t decide if I like these Hawaiian roll turkey sliders best for easy family meals, or for parties. Guess I have to keep making them until I’m able to make a decision!

Why I LOVE this recipe!

  • Club sandwich flavors in easy slider form – Traditional club sandwiches are notoriously huge, stuffed full, and often have to be held together with a toothpick! But with these turkey sliders on Hawaiian rolls, your club sandwiches are sized down and much easier to eat.
  • So easy to make – This method of making sliders is one of my faves! It’s so easy to assemble these Turkey Club Sliders whether for a fast and easy family dinner or to feed a crowd on game night.
  • SO delicious! – Smoky turkey and bacon, savory cheese, and creamy mayo on a soft bun, then layered up with juicy tomatoes, onions, and crisp lettuce. These turkey and cheese sliders have all the flavors and textures and are just SO GOOD!
  • Party-friendly – They’re pretty much guaranteed to be the most popular food at the party, so it’s a good thing they’re super easy to scale up so you can feed a big hungry crowd, no problem.

Recipe Notes

This Turkey Club Sliders recipe is as simple as promised! Just 25 minutes to make a family friendly meal.

In this section I am going to go through a few tips and tricks I use for how to make Turkey Club Sliders to get the absolute best and most delicious results.

Make sure to scroll to the bottom for the FULL recipe card.

Ingredients + Substitutions

Ingredients for turkey club sliders.
  • Hawaiian rolls – Slightly sweet, soft, and tender Hawaiian rolls are perfect for sliders! Brioche rolls or your favorite dinner rolls work well, too.
  • Sliced turkey – Sliced deli turkey is perfect in these sliders. Use roasted turkey or smoked turkey – your preference.
  • Bacon – Cooked bacon strips add smoky flavor and crunch. Turkey bacon works great, too, if you prefer it.
  • Colby jack cheese – I love Colby jack in these turkey and cheese sliders, but provolone or mild cheddar would be excellent, too.
  • Mayo – Use your favorite mayonnaise.
  • Lettuce – Curly, or green leaf, lettuce is shredded and layered onto these sliders for a crisp and cool counterpoint.
  • Tomatoes – Thinly sliced Roma tomatoes add juicy flavor to these sliders.
  • Red onion – Sweet onion works, too.
  • Butter – For brushing the tops of the sliders.
  • Garlic powder, salt, & Parmesan – For topping the sliders.

Make sure to see the recipe card at the bottom of this post for the full quantities and ingredients list.

Recipe Variations

If you love this recipe as much as we do and want some quick ways to change it up for variety, these little tips will do the trick!

  • Ham & Cheddar Sliders– Replace the turkey with sliced ham, omit the bacon, and sub cheddar for the colby jack to make a ham and cheese version of these sliders.
  • Dairy-Free Turkey Club Sliders – Omit the Parmesan and use olive oil or a dairy-free butter substitute to brush the rolls. For the colby jack cheese inside the buns, you can leave it out or replace it with a vegan/dairy-free cheese.
  • Leftover Turkey Sliders– These sliders are the perfect way to use up leftover holiday turkey! Just slice and/or shred leftover turkey and lay it in a thin layer in place of the deli turkey.

Recipe Step by Step

I am going to highlight a few key steps in the recipe here, but make sure to jump down to the recipe card for comprehensive instructions on how to make Turkey Club Sliders.

Spread the lettuce evenly over the top.

Add back the tops of the buns. Tear or cut apart and enjoy!

Recipe Tips

  1. Cut in between the rolls before serving – This will make it easier to lift individual sliders out.
  2. Scale up or down – For smaller portions, just half the recipe. Or, to feed a crowd, you can double, triple, or even quadruple these turkey sliders!

Recipe Short Cuts

If you need to make this recipe, but are extra short on time, here are a few ideas that can help make this recipe even faster!

  • Use pre-cooked bacon – Some store offer pre-cooked slices of bacon, which make a perfect shortcut for these sliders. You can also cook your own ahead of time, or even use bacon bits if you prefer.
  • Buy pre-shredded lettuce – Save the step of having to wash and shred your lettuce by buying already-shredded lettuce at the store.
  • Prep ahead of time – Assemble the sliders up to the point of baking up to 48 hours ahead of time. Prepare the veggies and store them separately. Store everything in the fridge. Then, when it’s time to make them, just pop them in the oven, top with veggies, and serve. Easy!

Turkey Club Sliders Leftovers

If you have leftovers after making this recipe, then it is your lucky day! They save and reheat well, and can make the start of another delicious dish.

To save leftovers, separate into meal sized portions and then place in an airtight container and store:

  • in the refrigerator for 3-4 days

Easy and delicious! I appreciate that it’s a versatile recipe. We didn’t have bacon, so we used ham instead. We put some dill pickles on it, and some of us added mustard. We served it with potato salad. Great dinner for movie night.
