Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Crockpot BBQ Brisket– Quick and easy, and so good! This recipe gives you that Texas BBQ flavor in an easy to make at home kinda way. Save the leftovers for the best “start with leftovers” recipe on Wed. My family LOVES it!!
- Side Dish:
- Coleslaw– go with a traditional recipe, or spice it up with something new like this Sriracha Coleslaw!
- Potatoes– Almost any variety, whether you like baked potatoes, potato salad, crispy smashed potatoes, baked potato wedges, creamy mashed potatoes, or even this delicious Cracker Barrel style hashbrown casserole!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Southwest Chicken Bake– This recipe is so loaded with flavor, veggies, and all sorts of goodness. It is perfect for a busy night and extra family friendly!
- Side Dish:
- Cornbread- One of my personal favorites! Try this delicious all time favorite corn bread recipe.
- Mexican Rice – Tastes just like your fav Mexican restaurant!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Brisket Tacos– These irresistible Brisket Tacos are made with leftovers from Monday. I Will tell you to make sure to have a brisket big enough to give you a good amount of leftovers because my kids fight over these tacos!!
- Side Dish:
- Mexican Street Corn Casserole– an all time favorite side dish (inspired by Torchy’s Tacos!)
- Chips and dip – Think guacamole, salsa, queso, etc!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Lemon Basil Chicken Pasta – Bright and lemony, with super tender lightly breaded chicken, this pasta dish tastes like it is straight from a restaurant, not made at home in 20 minutes!
- Sides:
- Garlic Bread– Our go-to recipe. It is just so good!
- Pesto Roasted Vegetables– Love this flavor combination and it makes. aperfect light and healthy side for a pasta dinner
- Sides:
FRIDAY
- Main Dish: Roast Beef Sliders– I shared this on Instagram this week and so many of you told me how much you love this recipe, so I thought it would be the perfect way to wrap up the week. If you have leftovers they can be reheated for lunch over the weekend too!
- Side:
- Caesar Pasta Salad
- Quick Green Beans – There are 5 flavor options in this recipe, but my favorite for the roast beef sliders Pan Roasted Green Beans with Bacon.
- Side:
- Dessert – Soft Bakery Style Sugar Cookies– These are soft and pillowy and just melt in your mouth! They are great alone and even better topped with buttercream frosting!
APPETIZER
- LOADED Queso– This isn’t any old boring queso dip… This loaded queso packs in the flavor and is simple to make in just one skillet!
