Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: – Cream of Mushroom Chicken– This dish is classic comfort food ALL THE WAY! It takes literal minutes to get it in the oven and is packed with flavor and creamy goodness. I say this one is a must try!
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Roasted Vegetables – Easy, fast, garlicky, and so delicious. A winning combo for. aside dish!
- Rice- We like to serve the chicken right over the rice so that it soaks up every last drop of that delicious sauce.
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Southwest Pork Chops– These easy pork chops can be made bone in or boneless based on what you have on hand. They are packed with delicious flavor and perfect for a refreshing summer meal.
- Side Dish:
- Pineapple Salsa – Top it with this pineapple salsa for a ridiculously delicious combo.
- Black Beans – You. can heat up a can, or make a big batch of this recipe in a crockpot!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Easy Steak Fried Rice– This recipe. isa reader favorite because it is quick, easy, and everyone in the family loves it!
- Side Dish:
- Drizzle sauce– Try our japanese steakhouse Yum Yum Sauce copycat recipe or if you like a kick, go with our spicy mayo!
- Sriracha Coleslaw– My husband and I love to layer this on top of the rice, but if you want something more kid friendly, you can go with a little plain shredded cabbage!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Grilled BBQ Chicken Breast – We try to use the grill ast least oncec a week durinng the warm summer months. This recipe is our go-to for makign BBQ chicken on the grill.
- Sides:
- Garlic Smashed Potatoes– Get the flavor of french fries in these oven baked potatoes!
- Broccoli Cauliflower Salad– This light salad can be prepped ahead, and is extra delicious with the addition of crispy bacon!

FRIDAY
- Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Nachos– Use the leftovers from Thursday to make this family favorite Friday meal. Spread chips over a baking sheet sprinkle shredded cheese over the chips. Add rinsed and drained black beans and sweet corn and top with chopped BBQ chicken and more cheese. Bake at 425˚F for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and nachos are heated through. Top with a drizzle of BBQ sauce and your choice of sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo.
- Dessert – Key Lime Cookies- You MUST TRY these cookies! They are seriously some of the best I have ever made and I get asked for the recipe by anyone who tried them!
APPETIZER
- Hawaiian Meatballs– These are perfect for grazing since they can sit in the slow cooker and make a very hearty appetizer.
