This Strawberry Spinach Salad is on of my go to salads for any gathering. You will love the fresh and bright flavors in this salad. The mixture of spinach, fresh strawberries, almonds, onions and feta create the perfect combination. If you are looking to make this salad a wholesome meal, you can even add some grilled chicken or steak to the top. Once you drizzle the poppy seed dressing on top this salad becomes almost irresistible.

Easy Strawberry Spinach Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

This simple salad comes together quickly and has the perfect flavors for a spring or summer meal.  The strawberries give it just the right amount of sweetness, the almonds, crunch, the feta gives it some heartiness without feeling heavy, and the dressing adds just the right amount of tanginess.  All together, the flavors just work perfectly!

I get tired of the same old salad, and this one is not the “same” old salad. Every time I bring this salad to a potluck or luncheon, everyone is always asking for the recipe. The ingredients come together in the perfect combination to make a really addicting salad.

This salad is the perfect meal for a light lunch or can be served as side dish to dinner. I also really love making this for brunch, potlucks, or barbecue’s where everyone signs up for a dish. It is always a bight and welcome flavor to add to the table.

This salad is super simple to make. With only a few ingredients this salad comes together rather quickly. First start by making the dressing by whisking lemon juice, vinegar, sugar, olive oil, and poppy seeds. In a large salad bowl combine the salad ingredients together and drizzle the dressing over top. Serve immediately.

Strawberry Spinach Salad is full of flavor. This salad is a mixture of sweet, salty, and crunchy. This salad is super easy and quick to make and is perfect for a side dish, light meal, picnic or potluck.

Ingredients 

Salad

  • 8 oz baby Spinach
  • 8 oz strawberries
  • 1/4 cup Sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese

Dressing

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

Instructions 

  • In a dressing container or mason jar, whisk together lemon juice, white wine vinegar, sugar, olive oil and poppy seeds until combined.
  • In a large bowl, combine spinach, strawberries, almonds, red onion, and feta cheese.  Pour dressing over top and toss the salad until evenly coated with dressing.
  • Serve immediately.  Enjoy!
