Family Meal Plan
Week 385
*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*
Monday
- Main Dish: Crockpot Tuscan Chicken and Orzo – This blew me away. It is SO flavorful and the fact that the chicken and orzo cook together in the crockpot makes it even better.
- Side Dish:
- Cucumber Tomato Salad – Fresh, crunchy and so easy to throw together. I love having something light next to a creamy chicken dinner.
- Garlic Bread – You already know I’m not serving a saucy chicken and orzo dinner without garlic bread. We need something to scoop up every last bit!
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Creamy Chicken and Asparagus Skillet – This is hands-down my husband’s FAVORITE dinner.
- Side Dish:
- Italian Salad – Such a simple side but it’s the perfect fresh bite next to the creamy chicken.
- Mashed Potatoes – This is my favorite side to go with this. Add the creamy chicken and sauce right on top of a scoop of potatoes.
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Mississippi Chicken – 4 ingredients and it’s a crockpot dinner. Now you know it’s going to be a good night! This is one of my favorite recipes when I need dinner to basically take care of itself.
- Side Dish:
- Egg Noodles – Put your Mississippi chicken right on top of a pile of buttery egg noodles. My kids are very much on board with this plan.
- Green Beans – Keep the veggie side simple with these quick sautéed green beans. They take just minutes and go with everything.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Jalapeño Popper Chicken Salad – Oh.My.Gosh. Y’all love my chicken salads, but this one is incredible! I seriously stand in my fridge with a fork sneaking bites. 😂 If you like jalapeño poppers, you NEED this recipe.
- Side Dish:
- Cilantro Lime Pasta Salad – Bright, fresh and a little zippy. This is also a great one to make ahead so Thursday dinner is even easier.
- Croissant or Ciabatta Bread – Turn salad into a sandwich and call it dinner. I am always here for a dinner that requires basically zero effort.
- Fruit Salad – Something fresh and sweet on the side is always a good idea. Plus, it gives everyone something to grab when they’re still hungry 20 minutes later. 😉
Friday
- Main Dish: Crockpot Chicken Ramen – This dinner basically makes itself and I am always thankful for that!
- Side Dish:
- Sriracha Slaw – This has a little kick that my older kids love and I can adjust it depending on who’s eating. It adds the perfect crunchy bite to the ramen.
- Brown Butter Broccoli – Brown butter makes everything better. Seriously. Even the broccoli gets a little upgrade with this one!
- Dessert – Lemon Meltaway Cookies – It’s been a minute since we’ve made these little bites of lemony goodness! They literally melt in your mouth and are so easy to grab when you need a little something sweet.
Appetizer
- Slow Cooker Buffalo Wings – I’ve made wings every way you can think of and this is the one I keep coming back to. Five minutes of prep, then the crockpot does the work. They get SO tender and my family goes all in on these.
