Family Meal Plan
Monday
- Main Dish: Creamy Chicken Asparagus Skillet – This is hands-down my husband’s FAVORITE dinner.
- Side Dish:
- Mashed Potatoes – This is actually my favorite side to serve with this dish – just lay your chicken on top of a scoop of mashed potatoes and that’s it. Don’t forget to add a little cream, too!
- Italian Salad – It’s such a simple side but top it with this balsamic vinaigrette and you have an awesome side to compliment the flavors in the chicken asparagus skillet.
- Pasta – You can serve the entree over pasta or with a side or pasta tossed with a little olive oil, garlic and some salt.
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Mexican Chicken Street Tacos – If you want authentic flavors for Taco Tuesday, these tacos are the answer.
- Side Dish:
- Black Bean Corn Salsa served with chips.
- Chipotle Cilantro Lime Rice – This is a Chipotle copycat recipe and you won’t believe how easy it is!
Wednesday
- Main Dish: One Pot Lasagna Soup – With just a few minutes of prep you’ll be able to make a huge batch of delicious soup.
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Parmesan Broccoli – These are the perfect side with a meal like this.
- Garlic Bread – You definitely need this bread so that you can dip right into the lasagna soup.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Mississippi Chicken – This is always a family favorite!
- Side Dish:
- Mashed Cauliflower or Roasted Cauliflower – Either one of these would be great. The mashed cauliflower will blow your mind!
- Egg Noodles – put your Mississippi chicken right on top of egg noodles.
- Buttermilk Ranch Dressing – You can use this dressing for so many things, but with a side salad is where it’s at! Make some extra to use tomorrow.
Friday
- Main Dish: Garlic Bread Pizza – Set up a DIY pizza station in the kitchen and use this list of Pizza Topping Ideas. This is so fun to do at the end of the week!
- Side Dish:
- Homemade Ranch Dressing – Did you make extra yesterday? It’s the best way to make sure everyone eats their veggies 😉
- Italian Rotini Pasta – You can make this earlier in the week so that it’s one less thing you need to make tonight.
- Dessert – Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispies – I love a no bake dessert that is quick to whip up, don’t you?
Appetizer
- Hawaiian Meatballs – Make these in the crockpot and serve for Super Bowl Sunday!
