Family Meal Plan
Monday
- Main Dish: Juicy Chicken Bites – I shared these on Tuesday and they went VIRAL within hours! It’s a family-friendly recipe that’s incredibly easy to make in as little as 20 minutes! Double the recipe for Wednesday’s meal. Win-win!
- Side Dish:
- Sautéed Green Beans – Foolproof side dish.
- A green salad with Homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing – This dressing is even good to use as a dipping sauce for your chicken bites.

Tuesday
- Main Dish: Southern Pot Roast – This is cooked low and slow over a bed of carrots, potatoes, and onions to create a complete family meal all in one pot.
- Side Dish:
- Roasted Mashed Cauliflower – If you need a side that is as delicious as it is easy, this is it.
- Cheddar Bay Biscuits – Life, fluffy and delicious!
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Chicken Fried Rice – Chop up leftover chicken bites from Monday and add them into this rice that takes only 15 minutes!
- Side Dish:
- Asian Cucumber Salad – This salad is light and flavor-packed with a ginger soy dressing.
- Edamame – Serve steamed
- Yum yum sauce (a Japanese steakhouse favorite!) and it’s so good to dip your chicken fried rice into.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Chicken Taco Casserole – 20 minutes and you’ll have a whole table full of people asking for seconds.
- Side Dish:
- Mexican Rice – Your family will think you grabbed rice from the restaurant, but really you whipped this rice up in no time.
- Chips and salsa or tableside guacamole
- Mexican Roasted Veggies – These veggies have BIG flavor.
Friday
- Main Dish: Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie – Set it and forget it meals are such a lifesaver!
- Side Dish:
- No Yeast Rolls – You definitely need bread to soak up the creamy leftovers on your plate.
- Mashed Potatoes – My extra creamy recipe is easy, and perfect for serving a big scoop of creamy, crustless chicken pot pie over.
- Dessert – Butter Cookies with Cinnamon Glaze – These melt in your mouth and have the most wonderful flavor!
Appetizer
- Million Dollar Dip – This appetizer is perfect for football watching this weekend! It is no cook and only takes minutes, yet has the BEST flavor!
