Family Meal Plan
Monday
- Main Dish: Steak Fried Rice – My family LOVES this! It is perfect for leftover steak, or any cut of beef you have in the fridge.
- Side Dish:
- Sauces– The kids love Yum Yum Sauce and my husband and I prefer the kick of the Japanese Spicy Mayo!
- Sriracha Slaw – Sriracha, lime and cilantro give this coleslaw incredible flavor!
- Crunchy Garlic – If you’ve never had this you can find it at Trader Joes, World Market or even Amazon. I can’t quit it!
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Blackened Chicken Breast – Do not skip over this delicious meal! This recipe is fast, and healthy and has so much flavor! Make a little extra to prep for Thursday’s dinner.
- Side Dish:
- Cajun Roasted Veggies – This vegetable medley is quick and delicious!
- Herb Roasted Potatoes – Are you ready for your new go to side dish? Because this might be it!
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Baked Ground Turkey Tacos – Make a big batch of these for your family or if you have some extra kids hanging out.
- Side Dish:
- Mexican Style Rice – This is inspired from the flavors of Tex-Mex I grew up eating almost daily!
- Black Beans – If your crock pot is full, doctor up some canned beans! Otherwise make these amazing black beans from scratch in the crock pot!
Thursday
- Main Dish: Blackened Chicken Alfredo – Using the chicken you prepped on Tuesday you are one step closer to having restaurant quality pasta in record time. Everyone will be wanting seconds!
- Side Dish:
- Side salad with Creamy Italian dressing – the dressing tastes as good as Olive Garden and can be made in 5 minutes.
- Garlic Cheese Bread – Sometimes I regret not making 2 of these since the family acts like they’ve won the lottery when I make it!
Friday
- Main Dish: Pesto Chicken Salad – I love this so much for an extra busy night. It has so much flavor and you can use leftovers for lunch through the weekend.
- Side Dish:
- Kale Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette – This is still one of my favorite salads. Takes me back to when we lived in Rhode Island.
- Roasted Asparagus — You’ll be shocked at how flavorful these are!
- Dessert — Soft and Thick Sugar Cookies– No better time than now to start testing out all your holiday cookie recipes! These big, thick, bakery style cookies are a favorite. I love them best topped with my buttercream frosting!!
Appetizer
- Cheddar Bay Sausage Balls — Have these as an appetizer or even as a breakfast item. I love how versatile they are.
