Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: Pulled BBQ Chicken Sliders – When your family hears “Sliders” you hopefully won’t hear any grumbles. These are so good we’re calling them a touchdown!
- Side Dish:
- Easy Baked Macaroni and Cheese – My Grandma’s macaroni and BBQ sliders are a match made in heaven.
- Summer Fruit Salad – Keep it light with this delicious salad.
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Slow Cooker Ham and Potato Soup – This is so simple, and I really think you’ll be surprised at how flavorful and delicious this soup is!
- Side Dish:
- Oven Roasted Green Beans — I have 5 different ways to make these and I think ANY one you choose would be delicious next to this creamy ham and potato soup.
- No Yeast Dinner Rolls — Rolls sound intimidating, but you know me – they’re easy! And they need zero time to rise. When you taste them with your soup, you will be so happy you made them!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Sausage Pesto Penne – Do not sleep on this sheet pan meal! In just 30 minutes you’ll have a meal that is packed with protein and delicious veggies.
- Side Dish:
- Caprese – You can’t go wrong serving this fresh, classic salad.
- Garlic Bread – You will probably want to make this every week after you try it. It is my favorite!
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Crockpot Steak Bites — I shared this dump-and-go slow cooker recipe on Instagram the other day (did you see it?) and it’s clear that everyone needs to try this!
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes —The garlic and cheese in this recipe pair so well with the Crockpot Steak Bites.
- Steakhouse Salad – Top your salad with the steak bites and you’ll be glad you did!
FRIDAY
- Main dish: 3 Ingredient Taco Chicken — This is perfect for an easy (and delicious) Friday night. If you are lucky enough to have leftovers, you can make nachos for lunch over the weekend. Yum!
- Side Dish:
- Mexican Rice —This EASY Mexican style rice tastes just like the sides you get in your favorite Mexican restaurant!
- Sautéed Peppers and Onions – This simple, classic recipe makes perfect bell peppers and onions every time.
- Topping Suggestions
- Shredded lettuce
- Cheese – I like cheddar or colby jack best
- Pico de gallo
- Guacamole
- Sour cream
- Chopped cilantro
- Dessert – Pecan Pie Bars — These ooey gooey Pecan Pie Bars have the BEST shortbread crust. These are easy enough to make if you want a dessert for home, but it’s also great for potlucks because of the amount that this makes.
APPETIZER
- Black Bean and Corn Salsa – I love how hearty this dip is. It would even be good on your nachos if you have extra taco chicken from Friday.
