Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: Hot Honey Chicken – My oldest child says this is the best chicken I’ve ever made! You can make it as hot (or not) as you’d like.
- Side Dish:
- Buttermilk Cornbread – I really can’t think of a more appropriate side than this classic cornbread recipe! It is the best one out there!
- Grandma’s Macaroni and Cheese – This is a match made in heaven for the Hot Honey Chicken Breast!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Crockpot Rotisserie Chicken — This is a hands-off, low stress weeknight meal that delivers the juiciest chicken that everyone will enjoy. If you have *leftovers* save them for Thursday nights dinner.
- Side Dish:
- Baked Asparagus — This Asparagus recipe is one of the EASIEST & TASTIEST ways to make this side dish.
- Italian Tortellini Salad — This salad is LOADED with flavors and creamy goodness in every bite. It’ll taste even better the next day, so make sure to save some for lunch because the flavors get absorbed even more into the pasta and it’s delicious!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Crock Pot Mississippi Pot Roast – All you need are 5 simple ingredients to have the most tender, juicy, flavorful, pot roast, and it couldn’t be more quick and easy to make.
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Cheese Bread – Your family will love this garlic bread. The cheese really kicks it up a notch.
- Side Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette — The thought of this dressing is actually making my mouth water. It’s tangy and sweet, so it pairs perfectly with the pot roast.
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Baked Chicken Tacos – Using your *leftovers* from Tuesday you can these baked tacos. This is so simple, but taco night usually means you’ll end the day with full bellies (I hope!).
- Side Dish:
- Mexican Street Corn Casserole — Between the tacos being baked in one dish and this delicious street corn casserole in one dish, clean up is looking like a breeze tonight!
- Chipotle Cilantro Lime Rice — This is a crowd favorite.
FRIDAY
- Main dish: Marry Me Chicken – My family loves this chicken so much. We made it a few weeks ago, but here we are again…I’m not mad about a one pan, flavor packed, easy meal!
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes – I’m not sure if this is the “traditional” side dish, but it’s my favorite side to serve with the Marry Me Chicken.
- Garlic Roasted Vegetables — Classic with a little bit of crispness in the bite.
- Dessert – Crockpot Peach Cobbler—This is our favorite summer dessert, so we need to make it as much as possible before the fall months sneak up on us.
APPETIZER
- Pineapple Cream Cheese Dip – NEW recipe alert! This no bake recipe is perfect in the summer time when you don’t want to heat up the kitchen, but you need a quick appetizer.
