Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Saucy Buffalo Chicken Tenders– These are so fast, so easy and SO DELICIOUS! A great way to start off the week, because if you have extra, these work well for wraps and salads for lunches!
  • Side Dish:
    • Carrots, Celery and Homemade Ranch dressing – Take the extra 5 minutes to make the ranch! SO GOOD!
    • Garlic Smashed Potatoes – Family favorite! These are so so so good!

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Chicken Burrito Skillet– All the flavor of a delicious burrito bowl made in just one skillet! If you need to change things up this taco Tuesday, this is a winner all around!
  • Side Dish:
    • Toppings- Try guacamole, pico de gallo, corn salsa, sour cream, cheese, or jalapeno ranch!
    • Tortillas– I like to eat this as a bowl, but the kids love to wrap it up in tortillas! The best part is that it is flexible and easy for the family.

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Crock Pot BBQ Brisket– Throw this in the crock pot in the AM and then come home to a house that smells like Texas BBQ in the PM! This is not only easy and delicious, but the recipe pulls double duty for an easy meal Friday too!
  • Side Dish:
    • Cornbread– Try a classic buttermilk cornbread, or this super easy Mexican style cornbread.
    • Salad– A classic green salad with this homemade ranch is a hit at our house, as well as, this broccoli slaw, broccoli and cauliflower salad, and our family Rotini Pasta Salad.

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta -This is one of our favorite pasta dinners! It is loaded with lots of (good-for-you) tomatoes, basil and herbs to make a quick and easy sauce. Toss in the pasta and you have a hearty dinner that is extra family friendly! Optional: Add grilled chicken or steak for extra protein.
    • Sides:
      • Antipasto Salad– A great way to add some protein to this easy dinner!
      • Garlic Roasted Vegetable Medley– My go to veggie side dish. So easy!
      • Cheesy Garlic Bread– Because garlic bread!

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Brisket Sandwich with Jalapeno Slaw – One of the most delicious ways to use leftover brisket! Grab your leftovers from Friday and make this easy meal! Don’t be scared of the jalapeno slaw! It can be made mild or spicy based on your preference, or left off all together for those who don’t like it. Want something different? Try my BBQ brisket tacos instead!
    • Side:
      • Corn and Avocado Salad– Love this light and easy salad.
      • Chips
  • Dessert – Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies– I made these for some friends recently and got begged to send the recipe, so I figured I should share it with you too!

APPETIZER

  • Baked Roast Beef Sliders– These always get amazing reviews!!!
  • Black Bean and Corn Salsa– Perfect to keep in the fridge for a light and easy snack.
