Family Meal Plan
MONDAY
- Main Dish: Hawaiian Roll Cheeseburger Sliders – If you’re craving take out, try these baked sliders! They’re so easy to make, are healthier and taste so much better than take out.
- Side Dish:
- Baked Potato Wedges – These are a match made in heaven with your sliders. Perfectly crispy and seasoned wedges. Your family will keep asking for more!
- Veggies and Buttermilk Ranch Dressing – Have you ever made ranch dressing? It is so easy and once you make this you will probably not ever want bottled again!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: French Onion Pot Roast – One of our favorite, easy, go to meals for a busy night is pot roast. It cooks low and slow in the crock pot and leaves you with the juiciest meat that no one will turn their nose up to at the dinner table.
- Side Dish:
- Creamy Mashed Potatoes – I can’t think of a more comforting meal than pot roast and mashed potatoes. These creamy mashed potatoes get made all year long because they are so good!
- Sautéed Green Beans – Sometimes the most simple side is the tastiest. These green beans are quick, easy and you guessed it – delicious!
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Sausage Pesto Penne – Who doesn’t love a good sheet pan meal? This is the perfect dish on a busy night. In just 30 minutes you’ll have a well-balanced meal that is packed full of protein and lots of veggies!
- Side Dish:
- Caprese – Caprese can easily be a side, but why not serve it as an appetizer before dinner instead! You can’t go wrong serving this fresh, classic salad.
- Garlic Bread – If I could, I would eat garlic bread everyday of the week! But since I probably shouldn’t I’ll just make sure I use a favorite recipe like this one.
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: – Monterey Chicken Bake – This is the PERFECT busy weeknight meal. There are only a handful of ingredients and you’ll only have one dish to dirty!
- Side Dish:
- Baked Asparagus – Roasted veggies make for such a quick and delicious side dish.
- Brown Butter Broccoli – This broccoli is crisp, tender and tossed in warm seasoned butter sauce. It will likely be the the most requested dish at the table!
FRIDAY
- Main dish: Chicken Salsa Soup – We love this dump and go soup! My kids devour it every time it’s served and they almost always ask for seconds.
- Side Dish:
- Dessert – Key Lime Cookies – These cookies will make it FEEL like it’s summertime. We know a lot of people are stuck in cold climates right now – we can dream, right?
APPETIZER
- Hawaiian Meatballs – Why is it that so often the simplest recipes get the most attention? This recipe is no exception! These are great as an appetizer or if you’re going to a party and need a dish to bring.
