Monday
- Main Dish: Chicken Parmesan Sliders – These are such a fun dinner. You can use frozen chicken tenders to make them extra easy and the cheesy little sliders are the perfect size for kids. And if you need other recipes that use frozen chicken tenders check out this list.
- Side Dish:
- Creamy Southern Coleslaw – Cool, creamy, and the perfect balance to the warm sliders. It’s one of those sides that works with just about anything.
- Caprese Salad – Fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil always make dinner feel a little brighter. A quick drizzle of balsamic and it’s ready to go.
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Crockpot Steak Bites – Let the slow cooker take care of dinner today with just 5 ingredients! The steak turns out tender and flavorful and makes the house smell amazing by the time everyone gets home.
- Side Dish:
- Crockpot Mashed Potatoes – If you have never made mashed potatoes this way you are in for a treat. You can even prep them ahead which makes dinner time so much easier.
- House Salad – A simple salad is sometimes all you need to round out the meal and get a little something fresh on the plate.
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Baked Orange Chicken – This one brings all the takeout flavor without actually ordering takeout. It’s saucy, a little sweet, and always a hit.
- Side Dish:
- Ham Fried Rice – A great way to make the dinner feel complete and it soaks up all that orange chicken sauce.
- Sauteed Garlic Green Beans – These cook quickly and add a little crunch to the plate. A splash of soy sauce gives them even more flavor.
- Edamame or egg rolls – Either one makes dinner feel like a full takeout night at home.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Taco Skillet Dinner – Everything cooks in one pan and dinner is on the table fast. It’s hearty, flavorful, and great for a busy night.
- Side Dish:
- Doctored up canned black beans – A quick upgrade that turns basic canned beans into something everyone actually wants to eat.
- Cornbread – Warm cornbread alongside tacos is always a win. If you have some in the freezer this is the perfect night to use it.If not, make extra so you can have a stash for another time!
Friday
- Main Dish: Lemon Chicken Pasta – Bright lemon flavor with a creamy pasta always feels like a great way to wrap up the week. It’s simple but still feels a little special.
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Bread – Our tried and true garlic bread that disappears before the pasta even hits the table.
- Pesto Roasted Vegetables – Roasting the veggies with pesto gives them so much flavor and makes the whole plate feel fresh.
- Dessert – Lemon Cake Mix Crinkle Cookies – Soft, sweet, and so easy to make. These are perfect when you want a quick homemade treat.
Appetizer
- Honey BBQ Boneless Wings – Sweet, sticky, and impossible to stop grabbing. These disappear fast whenever I make them.
