Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

Monday

  • Main Dish: Cilantro Lime Carne Asada – I know! You’re thinking “steak? during the week?” Trust me. This feels a little special without being fussy and is SO quick and easy.
  • Side Dish:
    • Chipotle Lime Rice – You’re going to want to pile this right under the steak because it soaks up all the good stuff.
    • Borracho Beans – These are bold and hearty and always end up being the first thing gone.

Tuesday

  • Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Bites w Buttered Corn – My kids always ask for more of this because of how quickly it disappears from their plates.
  • Side Dish:
    • Southern Coleslaw – Cool and crunchy and exactly what you want next to tender chicken.
    • Roasted Vegetables – Simple veggies that actually get eaten because they come out perfectly every time.

Wednesday

  • Main Dish: Carnitas Bowls – Bowls are my secret weapon because everyone gets exactly what they want and I don’t have to referee dinner. Load it up, drizzle the sauce, and call it a win.
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Roasted Veggies – Toss these right on top and suddenly the bowl feels extra filling and extra good.
    • Homemade Guacamole and Salsa – Once you make these at home it’s hard to go back to store bought.
    • Jalapeno Ranch Dressing – Drizzle it on everything!

Thursday

  • Main Dish: Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta – Creamy, garlicky, and the kind of pasta night that makes the table go quiet.
  • Side Dish:
    • Italian House Salad – A nice break from all the carbs on the plate 😆
    • Garlic Cheese Bread – Warm, cheesy, and always a good choice!

Friday

  • Main Dish: Pulled BBQ Chicken Sliders – Easy Friday night food that feels fun and low effort in the best way.
  • Side Dish:
    • Baked Potato Wedges – Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and perfect for dipping in anything nearby.
    • Grandma’s Mac and Cheese – This one gets requested again and again and for good reason.
  • Dessert – Cinnamon Snowball Cookies – Soft, sweet, and a cookie that mysteriously vanishes from the container.

Appetizer

  • Cheesy Refried Bean Dip – A gooey, crowd-pleasing favorite!
