Family Meal Plan
Meal Plan – Week 332
*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*
Monday
- Main Dish: Teriyaki Chicken Casserole – This casserole actually makes a chicken dinner exciting! I really hope you love this as much as we do.
- Side Dish:
- Maple Glazed Carrots – These are sweet and crunchy – I love serving them with Asian dishes!
- Asian Cucumber Salad – This recipe is one of my all time FAVORITES!
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Hot Honey Chicken – My son says this is his FAVORITE way to eat chicken. Which is great because having dinner on the table in 30 minutes is MY favorite! *Make extra so that you an save it for later this week.*
- Side Dish:
- Buttermilk Cornbread – The sweetness of the honey balances the spice of the hot sauce perfectly!
- Oven Roasted Veggies – Pairing roasted veggies with sweet and spicy chicken is actually a match made in heaven.
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Crockpot Sausage and Potatoes – What’s better than a crockpot recipe? A crockpot recipe that’s an all-in-one for dinner!
- Side Dish:
- Steakhouse Style House Salad – This is super quick and easy to make. I suggest also making this Bleu Cheese Dressing.
- Peppers and Onions – These really go with everything and they’re quick to whip up.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Salsa Verde Chicken and Rice – A skillet meal! This is another one of those all-in-one recipes. Work smarter not harder, right?! This recipe is perfect during the week because of how easily it comes together and the family loves it!
- Side Dish:
- Easy Canned Black Beans – Canned beans are anything but boring when you jazz them up a little!
- Tortillas – Homemade tortillas are so much easier than you think, but they also taste fantastic and they make the meal feel a little more special.
Friday
- Main Dish: Honey Chicken Bowls – Using Tuesdays Hot Honey Chicken Breast recipe we’re going to make bowls – so good! Slice the reheated chicken into small pieces and place them on top of prepared rice or quinoa. Arrange vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce) around the bowl. Add sliced avocado for creaminess and drizzle soy sauce over the bowl, and gently toss together.
- Side Dish:
- Grandma’s Macaroni and Cheese – Kind of the ultimate girl lunch – have a salad and then some mac 😉
- Oven Roasted Vegetables – You can add these vegetables right to the top of your bowl or eat them separately. Either way, the sweetness from these carmalized veggies will taste great!
- Dessert – Churro Cheesecake Bars – You will not believe how simple these are to make – the secret is in the first step. They are creamy, a little tangy and have the best crunch from the cinnamon sugar. They are absolutely delicious!
Appetizer
- Asian Zing Wings – It’s almost football season, so you might as well prep by testing out these wings!
