Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

– Week 299

Monday

  • Main Dish: Hibachi Chicken– Move over takeout – this easy hibachi takes 30 minutes, only has 5 ingredients and is a money saver! Take that new years goals 💪🏻 This recipe makes a lot, so make sure to save some for leftovers.
  • Side Dish:
    • Veggie Fried Rice– Rice is a must, but also do not sleep on making Yum Yum Sauce because it’s good drizzled over everything.
    • Sautéed Green Beans– This dish is already full of great veggies, but sometimes I like to add a little extra “crunch”.

Tuesday

  • Main Dish: Baked Buffalo Chicken Thighs– Everyone loves these as an appetizer so I thought “why not make it into an easy dinner?” It’s a new favorite way for you to have something delicious for dinner in no time.
  • Side Dish:
    • Italian House Salad– A big cool, crisp salad is great when you have bold buffalo flavor alongside it.
    • Ranch Smashed Potatoes– Seriously the BEST way to make potatoes!

Wednesday

  • Main Dish: Hibachi Bowls– Using *leftovers* from Monday, you will have dinner on the table in no time.
  • Side Dish:
    • Rice– If you have leftover rice from Monday, go ahead and use it up! Or you can whip up a fresh batch and pile on your hibachi chicken right on top.
    • Classic Cucumber Tomato Salad– This is a lighter, delicious side dish.
    • Toppings:
      • Sesame seeds
      • Yum Yum Sauce– This sauce really seals the deal.
      • Green onions

Thursday

  • Main Dish: Ground Turkey Patties– it doesn’t take much to make sure these ground turkey patties turn out perfect and delicious!
  • Side Dish:
    • Brown Butter Broccoli– This is our favorite way to eat broccoli.
    • Mediterranean Chickpea Salad– I love the Greek flavors in this!

Friday

  • Main Dish: Brown Butter Tortellini with Spinach– This is the perfect meatless meal. It can be made in minutes thanks to quick cooking tortellini, plus you have the delicious brown butter to flavor your veggies.
  • Side Dish:
    • Cheesy Pesto Bread– Even the kids will notice you really leveled up your traditional garlic bread with this recipe.
    • Antipasto Salad– If you need a little protein for the meal, this salad is perfect!
  • Dessert – Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies– A hearty, wintery cookie that has the best texture.

Appetizer

  • Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip– This is one of my family’s “secret recipes”! It checks the easy box and if you bring it to a potluck or a party, be prepared for people to ask you for the recipe.
