Family Meal Plan

Monday
- Main Dish: Creamy Chorizo Pasta – It might be Christmas this week, but we still need a few easy meals! You’ll love how quick and easy this is!
- Side Dish:
- BEST Ever Garlic Bread – My MUST make bread anytime pasta is involved.
- Sautéed Peppers and Onions – I make this at least once a week because it’s so delicious.
Tuesday
- Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Tostadas – 20 minutes for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner! Then, you’ll have time to prep some dishes for tomorrow.
- Side Dish:
- Southern Coleslaw – I can’t think of anything better to go with BBQ chicken tacos.
- Mexican Rice – This tastes just like the sides you get in your favorite Mexican restaurant.
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Honey Glazed Ham – This family friendly recipe is perfect for Christmas dinner.
- Side Dish:
- Jiffy Corn Casserole – This is a holiday meal staple! Make sure to check out my make ahead tips to make your day a little smoother.
- Garlic Parmesan Green Bean Casserole – We love a traditional side dish!
- 45+ Make Ahead Christmas Dinner Recipes – Try a few of these recipes and make them ahead of time! I also include make ahead breakfast recipes like Breakfast Casserole with Sausage and Hashbrowns.

Thursday
- Main Dish: 15 Bean Ham Soup – Use up your leftover ham by making this delicious soup in your crockpot.
- Side Dish:
- Buttermilk Cornbread – This is a classic, but my special cooking method makes this cornbread extra good!
- Side Salad with Homemade Ranch Dressing – Make a delicious salad with iceberg, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and croutons. And do not sleep on making the best ranch ever.
- Toppings for your ham soup:
- Cheddar cheese
- Diced onion
- Chopped parsley
- Sour cream
- Crumbled bacon
- Green onions or chives
- Hot sauce
- Crushed red pepper
Friday
- Main dish: Cranberry Walnut Chicken Salad Sandwiches – Sandwiches are the perfect, easy dinner. If you’d rather have them as a wrap or even just as a salad, feel free!
- Side Dish:
- Baked Potato Soup – This is made from scratch, but because you throw everything into your crockpot, it couldn’t get any easier!
- Fruit Salad – Keep it light with a side of fruit.
- Dessert – Cranberry Christmas Cake – Make this ASAP! You can even make this and have it for breakfast if you’re like me.
Appetizer
- Spinach and Artichoke Dip – You can never go wrong with this dip, especially if you are having a group over.
- Broccoli Cauliflower Salad – This has the perfect flavor of sweet and a little tangy. You can serve this as an appetizer or even have it as a light meal.
