Family Meal Plan
– Week 294
*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*
Monday
- Main Dish: Quick Skillet Pot Pie – When I shared this awhile ago I received over 100 messages asking for the recipe! If you still have leftover turkey from Thanksgiving you should use it with this! This crustless version in the skillet makes this dish super fast and easy.
- Side Dish:
- Mile High Biscuits – You won’t believe how easy these are to make from scratch! My special method makes them raise “a mile high”, and they are super tender and flakey. I can’t think of anything better to go with the crustless pot pie.
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Hearty Crockpot Beef Chili – I love that there are lots of veggies packed into this, and the kids love to pile up their bowl of chili with cornbread and toppings. This is always a huge family favorite at our house.
- Side Dish:
- Easy Cornbread – Make this with or without the green chiles depending on your family preference!
- Toppings:
- Sour cream
- Cheddar cheese
- Chopped cilantro
- Diced avocado
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Baked Ziti (with ground turkey) – This classic favorite is lightened up by using ground turkey instead of ground beef! We always have leftovers to heat up for lunches the rest of the week.
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Bread – This recipe is our go to! It’s all about the secret spread.
- Roasted Veggies – This is one of my most popular side dish recipes! It is quick and so so delicious.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Sun Dried Tomato Basil Chicken – This recipe couldn’t be easier to make with just a few simple ingredients, a few steps and done in under 30 minutes!
- Side Dish:
- Mashed Potatoes – I love to serve the chicken right over these garlicky potatoes!
- Side salad with balsamic vinaigrette – This dressing takes 5 minutes and I make it on repeat so that I always have some in my fridge!
Friday
- Main Dish: Cuban Sliders – Sliders are always a family favorite, but they’re also equally perfect for game days or family dinners. The pulled pork is so juicy and delicious, too!
- Side Dish:
- Slow Cooker Black Beans – This is one of the easiest ways to make black beans and you get to let the slow cooker do all the work.
- Mexican Street Corn Dip – I love adding this alongside my cuban sliders because it is SO good!
- Jalapeño ranch or buttermilk ranch for dipping
- Dessert – Cranberry Upside Down Cake – This is the PRETTIEST cake and looks so impressive, but I promise you it is easy. No one will believe how easy it is!
Appetizer
- Burrata Caprese Salad – The perfect fresh salad that is extra quick and easy to make.
