Family Meal Plan
– Week 288
*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*
Monday
- Main Dish: Creamy Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup – It’s finally soup season! You can make this already easy soup even easier by using leftover chicken or a rotisserie chicken.
- Side Dish:
- Pesto Cheese Bread – I love a crusty bread whenever I have soup.
- Italian House Salad – The restaurant-style Italian dressing takes this salad to the next level. Don’t be intimidated by a homemade dressing – it’s easy and worth it!
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Crockpot Spaghetti Meat Sauce – Dump the ingredients into a slow cooker and let it work its magic. Pro tip – make extra and freeze for later.
- Side Dish:
- Pasta – spaghetti, linguine, penne, or tortellini
- Easy Caprese Salad – Light, refreshing and always a favorite.
- Side Green Salad – with a quick homemade ranch dressing. *Make enough ranch to keep for Friday*
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Asian Turkey Meatballs – These sweet and savory meatballs are everything I love about a quick and easy meal. And these are great because we lighten them up a bit with the protein.
- Side Dish:
- Vegetable Fried Rice – This uses very simple ingredients and it doesn’t get much simpler than this.
- Asian Cucumber Salad – You can make this ahead of time so that your night is even easier. Winning!
Thursday
- Main Dish: EASY Chicken Cordon Blue – All of my chicken bakes are easy and delicious, but this one really takes the traditional cordon blue and makes it so doable for a busy night!
- Side Dish:
- Roasted Vegetable Medley – This is one of my most popular side dish recipes!
- Tortellini Salad – Make this ahead of time so that you can just grab it when your chicken bake is ready.
Friday
- Main Dish: Pull-Apart Pizza Bread – We love pizza on Friday nights, but pull-apart pizza is such a fun twist.
- Side Dish:
- Veggies with homemade ranch dressing – I love serving a variety of crunchy veggies because when ranch is next to them, my kids will dig right in.
- Arugula Pear Salad – There is something about the fall that always makes me crave pears, so I will definitely be buying some fresh, juicy ones for this salad.
- Dessert – Salted Caramel Rice Krispie Treats – These irresistible treats are anything but boring!
Appetizer
- Mini Pigs in a Blanket – These warm, flakey appetizers will disappear so quickly!
