Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: Crock Pot Lemonade Chicken – Dump and go meals are the BEST! And this recipe is the perfect balance of sweet and savory, with lots of bright citrus flavor. If you have leftovers consider yourself lucky. This chicken is great on sandwiches, salads or on top of rice.
  • Side Dish:
    • Crispy Roasted Brussels Sprouts I have 5 different flavor options here!
    • Lemon Rice – Go all in on that lemon flavor by pairing Crockpot Lemonade Chicken with my Lemon Rice!
    • Rolls – Serve it on crusty rolls as a sandwich – this is one of our favorite ways to eat it!

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Drumsticks – These are fast and reheat well for lunch the next day.
  • Side Dish:
    • Easy Macaroni – I can’t think of a better side to compliment drumsticks.
    • Cucumber Tomato Salad – This is healthy, but loaded with flavor. This salad is also great as leftovers the next day for lunch.

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Baked Meatballs Parmesan –  This has proven time and time again to be the recipe that readers LOVE! Kids love this and so do adults! *Leftovers will be used for Friday.*
  • Side Dish:
    • Side Salad with Creamy Italian Dressing – Have you ever had Olive Garden’s creamy Italian dressing? This is better!
    • Pasta of your choice
    • Garlic Mashed Potatoes – This is an unexpected, but delicious side to serve with these baked meatballs.

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Lazy Lasagna – Have you ever made this before? If not, you will love it! It only requires 4 ingredients and a few layers…so quick and easy!
  • Side Dish:
    • Sautéed Spinach – Quick, easy and super healthy!
    • BEST EVER Garlic Bread – This recipe includes my homemade garlic bread spread!

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Meatball Subs– Use leftovers from Wednesday to make this EASY family favorite dinner.
  • Side Dish:
    • Baked Potato Wedges – Quick and the kids love them!
    • Pesto Caesar Tortellini Salad – This pasta salad can be made in minutes and is a hit with the kids.
  • Dessert — Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies – Soft, chewy, delicious….make a big batch so they last longer because everyone will be grabbing these!

APPETIZER

  • Southwest Corn Dip – This is THE perfect cool and refreshing summer snack!
