Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: Crock Pot Pork Carnitas – With only 10 minutes and a simple blend of pantry spices you can transform a pork shoulder into juicy and tender crispy carnitas and everyone will be asking for seconds!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Street Corn Casserole – This is always a crowd favorite and you only need 5 minutes to prep!
    • Cilantro Lime Rice – You can’t go wrong with this classic side dish.
    • Tortillas or taco shells

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Buffalo Chicken Burgers—Your new weeknight staple! Delicious, packed with protein and only takes a few minutes!
  • Side Dish:
    • Sautéed Peppers and Onions — Serve these as a side or pile them onto your burgers for a little crunch.
    • 3 Minute Corn on the Cob — When it starts getting warmer outside I always crave corn on the cob! The garlic butter makes this corn so savory and delicious.
  • Sauces:
    • Homemade Ranch Dressing — I consider myself somewhat of a ranch connoisseur and this one is a *chefs kiss*. It’d be so good to top on your buffalo chicken burgers!
    • Blue Cheese Dressing
    • Buttermilk Dressing
    • Extra Buffalo Sauce

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Smothered Shredded Chicken Burritos — With just one pan and 30 minutes you can serve a complete meal and know that everyone will leave the table happy. The sauce really takes these burritos to another level!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Style Crock Pot Refried Beans — Make a traditional Mexican dinner with these easy homemade refried beans.
    • Mexican Mixed Vegetables —  These are fast and I LOVE using them in leftovers (if you have any!).

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Teriyaki Chicken Bites — In 15 minutes you’ll be tasting the perfect combination of sweet and tangy in bite size portions.
  • Side Dish:
    • Asian Cucumber Salad – This recipe is one of my all time FAVORITES!
    • Rice or Grains – I love to serve teriyaki chicken on top of white sticky rice, but you can also use brown rice, quinoa, farro, or any other grain your family likes to soak up the sweet sauce.
    • Sautéed Spinach —  This is a quick and easy tender veggie that tastes great with this sticky and saucy chicken.

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Pesto Chicken Pasta Bake—This meal comes together quickly and is just a simple, delicious meal.
  • Side Dish:
    • Steakhouse Style House Salad —This salad is EASY but you can customize it for each person and is great for a busy night.
    • Garlic Cheese or Pesto Cheese Bread — Pasta and bread are always a happy match. Either of these flavors will be a hit for all ages.
  • Dessert –  Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies — If you want the softest chocolate chip cookies of all time, look no further!

APPETIZER

  • Jalapeno Ranch Dip — Serve this alongside chips or veggies like carrots, celery, peppers, broccoli, etc.
