Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Guacamole Chicken– If your family loves Mexican food this will be a huge hit. This is a great meal to start off your week. This guacamole chicken will even work if someone doesn’t love guacamole (yet!) because you can serve the seasoned cheesy chicken without the guacamole too.
  • Side Dish:
    • Crockpot Black Beans – This dump and go recipe creates beans that are SO flavorful!
    • Mexican Corn Salad – You can never go wrong with corn! And if you are in a cold climate right now, this side will make you think of summer and warm you right up.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: – Crockpot Greek Style Chicken with Veggies– This recipe basically has everything you need for a wholesome meal and it’s all in one pot. We love a set it and forget it meal, especially when it has both protein and veggies!
  • Side Dish:
    • Lemon Rice – This rice would be perfect to go along with your Greek style chicken. With just 25 minutes you have a rice that is fluffy and full of flavor from very simple ingredients.
    • Garlic Smashed Potatoes – These are a favorite in our house. So easy and delicious!

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Homestyle Meatballs– In just 30 minutes you can have these on your dinner table. The ingredients are so simple that you probably even have them on hand already. Save your extras for a meal on Friday!
  • Side Dish:
    • Brown Butter Broccoli – These tender pieces of broccoli are seasoned in a buttery sauce making them irresistible!
    • Garlic Cheese Bread – This is a crowd pleaser and will go perfectly with your meatballs!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Tuscan Tomato Tortellini Soup – This is the perfect cozy meal. Full of flavor and only takes 20 minutes. Yum!
  • Side Dish:
    • Green Salad with Homemade Creamy Italian Dressing – Don’t be intimated by making your own dressing. It is so easy! You may never go back to store bought.
    • Sautéed Green Beans – These sautéed green beans are pretty much my go to recipe for when I need a side to go with anything.

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Homemade Teriyaki Sauce Meatballs – Use your leftover homestyle meatballs from Wednesday and smother them in this teriyaki sauce.
  • Side Dish:
    • Asian Cucumber Salad – This is delicious and you can even make the dressing ahead of time!
    • Easy Fried Rice – This chicken fried rice recipe is as simple as promised. Omit the chicken to make this a lighter side.
  • Dessert – Hot Chocolate Cookies –  These cookies only require a couple of steps for the BEST tasting cookie.

APPETIZER

  • Incredible Baked Potato Wedges – It says it in the name, but these really are incredible! If you are going somewhere and need an appetizer to share, try these out!
