Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Pesto Chicken Pasta Bake– Cheesy, warm, and filled with tender chicken, veggies, and lots of hearty pasta, this one dish pasta bake is not only packed with flavor and delicious, but super easy to make. I love that there are lots of veggies in it, while my kids always love a cheesy pasta dinner. Big win for everyone! This does make a full 9×13 pan so you can cut it in half if you have a small family, or save and reheat the leftovers later.
  • Side Dish:
    • Garlic Cheese or Pesto Cheese Bread – Pasta and bread are always a happy match. Either of these flavors will be a hit with family’s of all ages.
    • Garlic Parmesan Broccoli – Cheesy, roasted broccoli is an easy but delicious healthy vegetable side.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Chicken Burrito Casserole– All the flavors of a chicken burrito in a quick and easy casserole dinner. This recipe is already getting rave reviews:
    “My family of 6 loved this casserole! The recipe was easy to follow and had good substitute suggestions! Easy to throw together for a busy week night dinner! This will be in our rotation! Thank you for the great meal!” – Natalie
  • Toppings:
    • Chopped Cilantro
    • Sour Cream
    • Pico de Gallo
    • Guacamole 
    • Shredded lettuce
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Roasted Veggies– Maybe the simplest recipe on this list, but still one of the most delicious!
    • Cornbread – This quick 3 ingredient cornbread is a personal favorite!!

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Sizzle Steak-This uses an affordable cut of meat to give you a FAST weeknight dinner with a steakhouse feel! If you haven’t tried this yet, I think you are going to love it!
  • Side Dish:
    • Garlic Herb Sauteed Mushrooms– These are SO SIMPLE and a special ingredient makes them over the top delicious.
    • Mashed Potatoes– You need these delicious potatoes to get right in there with the sauces from the steak!
    • Side salad- top it with this irresistible (and quick to make) homemade ranch dressing. to make it steakhouse quality!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Crockpot Hawaiian Meatballs – This is a 5 minute dump and go dinner that is perfect to be ready to go when you are! When I serve it as dinner (it can be a great appetizer too!) I like to serve it over rice or cauliflower rice if you want to lighten it up.
  • Sides:
    • Rice- Plain white or brown rice works well
    • Sautéed Green Beans – quick and easy side dish!
    • Cucumber Tomato Salad – perfect to make ahead

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad– This is the best mash up of salad, chicken, and pasta for a hearty dinner fast. I like to think of this as a gateway meal to getting the kids and hubs to enjoy salad as much as I do. It has lots of protein and with the pasta the kids think it is pretty good too!
  • Side:
    • Baked Potatoes– This makes a great option if you want something super easy that will bulk up the meal. Try making the baked potatoes in the instant pot. It is my absolute FAVORITE way to make them!
    • Creamy Tomato Soup– This is the best combo if you want soup and salad!
  • Dessert – Chocolate Chip Cookies–  I have been on a kick lately and this is my absolute FAVORITE recipe.

APPETIZER

  • Baked Buffalo Chicken Nuggets– These nuggs are absolutely perfect for munching on when you watch the big game!
