Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Shake and Bake Chicken– I’ve yet to find the person who doesn’t love this meal! It is like grown up chicken tenders made fast at home. Baked to keep it light, but all that delicious breading and tender chicken in just minutes. So good!
  • Side Dish:
    • Roasted Green Beans– I always pair this with my kids favorite veggie! Plus they can cook side by side in the oven for ease.
    • Mashed Potatoes– these are garlicky and extra delicious.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Crock Pot Carnitas– This is perfect for a busy week because a big pot of it will usually feed us not only today, but leftover make another delicious meal as well. This recipe is crazy easy and SO SO good! For the first meal, I almost always make Carnitas bowls and let the family dress theirs up any way they want.
  • Side Dish:
    • Cilantro Lime Rice– This tastes almost exactly like Chipotle and it is the perfect start for the bowl!
    • Black Beans– If your crock pot is full, doctor up some canned beans! Otherwise make these amazing black beans from scratch in the crock pot!
    • Toppings:
      • Shredded lettuce
      • Corn Salsa
      • Pico de Gallo
      • Sour Cream
      • Guacamole
      • Shredded cheese

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Meatball Parmesan Sliders– This is a mashup of a meatball sub, a slider sandwich and my super popular meatballs parmesan recipe. Perfect for a busy night because it is mostly just an assemble and bake type recipe, this is something that comes together and to the table fast.
  • Side Dish:
    • Baked Potato Wedges- These have a french fry vibe, but are lighter and far easier to make!
    • Tomato Mozzarella Salad– SO easy- so good!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Carnitas Street Tacos – Mid-week taacos are never a bad idea! Plus, since we are using leftover carnitas from Tuesday, it makes for a SUPER fast meal.
  • Sides:
    • Mexican Street Corn Casserole– This recipe gets AMAZING reviews from readers and has been made almost a million times and counting. This casserole is inspired by Mexican Street Corn and carries all the flavors in a quick and easy dish perfect for serving with tacos!
    • Chips and Salsa– This 5 min blender salsa will spoil you for LIFE!

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Million Dollar Baked Spaghetti– This large casserole can feed your family and all your kids friends, or is perfect for having leftovers quick to heat up all weekend long. The layers of pasta, meat sauce and cheese are comfort food at its finest!!
  • Side:
    • Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette– This homemade balsamic may be one of your favorite dressings ever and only takes 5 minutes to make.
    • Garlic Bread– Everyone who tries this recipe tells me how insanely good it is!!
  • Dessert – Peanut Butter Swirl Bars–  These chewy peanut butter bars are swirled with chocolate chips and so so delicious.

APPETIZER

  • Party Meatballs– These crock pot meatballs are a staple for every pot luck or BBQ!
