Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Easy Sizzle Steak– This cut of beef is the quickest, easiest, and YUMMIEST dinner! Start to finish in around 15 minutes, you will love not only how truly fast this is to prepare, but also just how flavor packed it is!
  • Side Dish:
    • Peppers and onions– I love to pair this dish with peppers and onions- then make leftovers into cheesesteak style subs- yum!
    • Garlic Smashed Potatoes– this is one of my very favorite ways to cook potatoes!

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Salsa Fresca Chicken– This was the first super VIRAL recipe on Easy Family Recipes! Millions of people have made and love this dish because it is so simple to make, easy to clean up, and has all that yummy Mexican inspired flavor.
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Rice– These taste just like a Mexican restaurant!
    • Black Beans– My favorite trick for making canned beans taste amazing.
    • Chips and Corn Salsa– This is inspired by the recipe that Chipotle shared on TikTok for their famous corn salsa!

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Baked Turkey Cheese Sliders– The best part about this recipe is you can fix all of these hot and hearty sandwiches in one pan so it can feed the whole family fast. Made with Hawaiian sweet rolls, these take minutes of prep, and are super kid friendly!
  • Side Dish:
    • Side Salad with Homemade Ranch– Seriously this ranch is THE BEST and so quick and easy to make.
    • Oven Roasted Vegetables– These are a fast, healthy, and kid friendly side that can cook right alongside the sandwiches in the oven to make dinner even easier!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Crock Pot Meatballs in Marinara – These are just so tender and loaded with flavor and perfectly made in the crock pot. You can leave them as is, or my kids love me to top it off with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses
  • Sides:
    • Pasta – Choose your favorite noodles to go with the meatballs, or go with a low carb option like zoodles.
    • Garlic Cheese Bread– So good!!

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Jalapeno Popper Chicken– This one dish dinner is SO DELICIOUS! You can adjust it to your preference from mild to hot, and the combo of the creamy cheese, the kick of the jalapeno, and tender chicken are the most perfect meal.
    • Side:
      • Street Corn Casserole– One of my most popular recipes and a tried and true side dish.
      • Mexican Roasted Vegetables– Quick- easy- packed with flavor… just how the best recipes are!
  • Dessert – Key Lime Cookies-  These flavors say “I am officially ready for summer!!” If you love tangy lime desserts, you HAVE to try these,

APPETIZER

  • Spicy Pimento Cheese– The best thing to keep in the fridge for snacking, or layer on your burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and more!
