Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops– Only 5 ingredients and the slow cooker does the hard work! This recipe produces tender juicy pork chops in a rich, flavorful gravy all cooking while you go along with your day.
  • Side Dish:
    • Garlic Mashed Potatoes– These are so easy and perfect for soaking up all that delicious gravy!
    • Roasted Vegetable Medley– These are a go-to side I make at least once a week. They are quick, healthy and really really delicious!

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Chicken Enchilada Casserole– My kids request this recipe constantly because it is just so good! What I love most is that it is just a few pantry ingredients and can come together and into the oven in as little as 10 minutes. This recipe is a keeper!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Rice– These taste just like a Mexican restaurant!
    • Refried Beans- Quick and easy, plus you can freeze extras for an easy meal later.

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Ground Turkey Stir Fry– One of my personal favorite skillet meals, this stir fry is veggie AND protein packed, hearty, and filling, not to mention it is really delicious.
  • Side Dish:
    • Yum Yum Sauce or Spicy Mayo– my kids love yum yum sauce and the grown ups opt for the spicy version to top off this dish. Both are so easy to make!
    • Rice– You can make white or brown rice- or go with a low carb alternative like cauliflower rice. I like to serve a scoop of rice, a scoop of stir fry then top it off with the sauce.

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: BBQ Chicken Casserole – I have readers tell me all the time how much they enjoy this recipe. It seems too easy to be true when you are throwing it together and is the most perfect for the busiest nights! Delicious, simple, and family friendly for the win!!
  • Sides:
    • Side Salad with Creamy Jalapeno Dressing – This dressing seriously makes me love salad!
    • Corn Salsa with chips– perfect for dipping and eating on the side.

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Million Dollar Spaghetti– This easy spaghetti casserole lives up to the name! It is loaded with sauce and cheesy goodness! I like making this Friday because we can feast on the leftovers all weekend long.
    • Side:
      • Garlic Bread– This is our go-to recipe and so great to pair with this saucy spaghetti!
      • Garlic Parmesan Broccoli– My kids favorite way to eat broccoli… and mine too!
  • Dessert – Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies–  No matter how many chocolate chip cookies I try, I always come back to this one because it is big, thick, chewy and has the perfect amount of chocolate!! If you haven’t tried it, it is a must!

APPETIZER

  • Green Chile Dip– This creamy dip is flavored with green chilis and cheddar cheese to make the perfect compliment to a big bag of salty tortilla chips. YUM!
