Each week, we share a FREE meal plan to help you figure out what’s for dinner! These family meal plans are thoughtfully crafted to give you options for a main dish, and two side dishes for each week day with a special emphasis on meals both kids and adults will enjoy.

Family Meal Plan

MONDAY

  • Main Dish: – Slow Cooker Pork Carnitas– This is the ultimate dump and forget dinner recipe! It produces tender juicy Mexican-style shredded pork loaded with flavor from slow cooking with zesty spices, orange, onion and jalapeno. The best part is that this makes a large batch that you can use for meal prep, or easy dinners throughout the week!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mexican Street Corn Casserole– This has been one of my all time most popular side dish recipes! It really is that good!
    • Black Beans – Turn a can of beans into something really special in minutes with this recipe.

TUESDAY

  • Main Dish: Crustless Chicken Pot Pie– All the flavor of a savory comforting chicken pot pie in a super quick and easy skillet recipe! I love that the kids and adults both love this dish, plus, it has lots of veggies packed into that creamy goodness for a mom win!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mashed Potatoes– This is perfect to serve the chicken pot pie right on top of!
    • Roasted Vegetables– This is quick and easy and can be done in the same amount of time as the chicken pot pie.

WEDNESDAY

  • Main Dish: Carnitas Enchiladas– Made from the leftovers from the slow cooker pork carnitas, this enchiladas recipe is quick, easy, and the perfect family friendly casserole for a mid-week dinner!
  • Side Dish:
    • Refried beans– This easy crock pot recipe can cook all day, or jus grab a can and heat it up.
    • Mexican Style Rice– We love this simple recipe! It turns out perfect every time!

THURSDAY

  • Main Dish: Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs -This Asian style meal is reminiscent of the mall food court chicken we loved growing up! This cooks quickly in a skillet and the sticky sauce is just so yummy and addicting!
    • Sides:
      • Rice– White, brown, or this cilantro lime rice are all perfect for pairing with this meal.
      • Garlic Green Beans– These are super quick and made in a skillet for less dishes! My kids could eat pounds of these!

FRIDAY

  • Main dish: Meatball Pasta Bake – Hearty with plenty of meatballs, this saucy pasta bake is perfect for feeding a hungry crowd! This easy layered pasta casserole is quick to put together and can even be assembled ahead of time if needed.
    • Side:
      • Roasted Veggies– So easy and the most delicious way to get lots of veggies in!
      • Garlic Bread– the secret is in the garlic bread spread- so good!
  • Dessert – Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies- These are a personal favorite! They are big, thick, chewy bakery style cookies that may not stay around too long!

APPETIZER

  • Million Dollar Dip– Perfect for a party, or just for snacking, this is called Million Dollar Dip for a reason!! Try it and let me know what you think!
