Family Meal Plan
– Week 362
*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*
Monday
- Main Dish: Sweet and Sour Chicken – Starting the week with a sheet pan dinner just makes life easier. It’s quick, flavorful, and there are usually no leftovers because everyone goes back for more. 😉 Check out our list of sheet pan recipes – cashew chicken is included and if you haven’t made it yet, it’s 5 stars!
- Side Dish:
- Fried Rice – This pairs perfectly and soaks up all that sweet and tangy sauce. It helps round out the meal without much extra effort.
- Oven Roasted Vegetables – Toss them on a pan and let them roast while everything else cooks. Easy and always a solid side.
Tuesday
- Main Dish: Chicken Gyro Skewers – These cook fast and come out so juicy! Make a little extra now and you’ll thank yourself later when Thursday’s dinner is halfway done.
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Smashed Potatoes – Crispy edges, soft centers, and they always disappear quickly. I usually make extra because everyone wants more.
- Cucumber Tomato Salad – Fresh and simple with just the right balance next to the warm chicken and potatoes.
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Honey Sesame Chicken – Sweet, savory, and always a hit. This is one of those dinners that feels like takeout at home.
- Side Dish:
- Spicy Sriracha Asian Coleslaw – Adds a little crunch and a little heat which balances out the sweetness of the chicken really well.
- Spicy Mayo Sauce or Yum Yum Sauce – Put both out if you can. Kids go for the yum yum and the spicy mayo usually disappears just as fast.
- Rice or Grains – Spoon that chicken right over the top and let the sauce soak in. It brings everything together.
Thursday
- Main Dish: Mediterranean Flatbread with Chicken – This is where those leftovers come in clutch. Throw everything on flatbread and dinner comes together fast without feeling repetitive!
- Side Dish:
- Quinoa Salad – Light, fresh, and a great way to add a little extra to the plate without much work.
- Classic Cucumber Tomato Salad – It showing up again because it’s easy and just works with these flavors. No one ever complains about it!
Friday
- Main Dish: Spinach Ricotta Chicken Bake – Think lasagna vibes, but way easier. Creamy ricotta, spinach, and cheesy baked chicken come together in one simple dish that’s perfect for a Friday night dinner.
- Side Dish:
- The Best Garlic Bread – Golden, buttery, and gone before you know it. You might want to make extra.
- Italian House Salad – A quick side that makes dinner feel complete without adding more work.
- Dessert – Fudge Brownies – Once you make these, it’s hard to go back to anything else! They’re rich, chocolatey, and always worth it.
Appetizer
- Buffalo Chicken Roll Ups – Bite sized and easy to grab which makes them perfect for snacking, parties, or even a quick lunch. They go fast!
