Meal Plan – Week 316

*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*

Monday

  • Main Dish: Chili Crunch Chicken Bowls — My family loves a “build-your-own-bowl night”! The combination of flavors in this recipe is sweet, savory and so satisfying – it’s quickly becoming a favorite meal of ours.
  • Side Dish:
    • Sautéed Green Beans — This simple recipe is just fresh garlic, salt and pepper so the natural flavors are able to shine through. The clean up is also so easy because there basically isn’t any and as busy moms, that’s a win!
    • Asian Coleslaw — I really like to have some crunch mixed into my bowls. I love the texture of it with rice and the juicy chicken.

Tuesday

  • Main Dish: Turkey Burger Sliders — Kids and adults love these bite sized burgers! Using pantry staples you only need about 20 minutes to whip these up.
  • Side Dish:
    • BLT Pasta Salad — I love pasta salad! This is a fun take on a classic BLT sandwich.
    • Summer Fruit Salad — I can’t think of a better side dish on a warm day. This fruit salad is so refreshing!

Wednesday

  • Main Dish: Shake and Bake Pork Chops — We’ve all reached for shake ‘n. bake before, right? This is so much better – the flavor is WOW and everyone at your dinner table will be asking for more. You may want to make extra for leftovers!
  • Side Dish:
    • Mashed Potatoes — These are garlicky and extra delicious.
    • House Salad — The restaurant-style salad is next level. It’s easy and worth it!

Thursday

  • Main Dish: Chicken Cobbler — There’s a good chance you’ve already made this recipe because it went viral! But if you haven’t, you will understand why everyone goes crazy over it.
  • Side Dish:
    • Baked Asparagus — This easy side can bake in the oven right along with your casserole, making dinner easy and tasty!
    • Maple Glazed Carrots — A cobbler and carrots just sounds right, don’t you think? They are super quick to make and actually addictive!

Friday

  • Main Dish: Crockpot Spaghetti Meat Sauce – Let your slow cooker be the chef tonight – just dump the ingredients in and let it work its magic.* Make extra and freeze for later.*
  • Side Dish:
    • Easy Caprese Salad – Light, refreshing and always a favorite.
    • Pasta – Spaghetti is my go-to but lots of kids like shells, ziti or elbow pasta.
    • Side Green Salad – with a quick homemade ranch dressing.
  • Dessert – Salted Caramel Rice Krispie Treats – If your kids like to help in the kitchen, let them help with these. They’re foolproof!

Appetizer

  • Mini Pigs in a Blanket – I’m not going to admit how often I’ve been making these lately. You can bring these to a pot luck or just make them on the weekend to snack on. They always disappear quickly, especially if you have some dips like brown mustard and ketchup.
