Family Meal Plan
– Week 315
*If you make a recipe this week and love it, please consider leaving a rating and comment on the recipe post. It helps to support my blog and makes my day!*
Monday
- Main Dish: Teriyaki Chicken Bites — A 15 minute recipe that uses pantry staples? Sounds like a dream, but its true!
- Side Dish:
- Crunchy Green Beans — The fresh flavor and crunch of green beans always seem to compliment the sweet sauces like the teriyaki in this dish.
- Sautéed Spinach — When I need a fast, but still healthy side dish I like to make this. It tastes so good with these sticky and saucy chicken bites!
- Rice and Grains — Serve your teriyaki chicken right on top of sticky rice or another grain like quinoa.
Tuesday
- Main Dish: – White Cheddar Broccoli Mac and Cheese — Your family is going to do backflips over this! This recipe is super rich and creamy, and the little bits of broccoli won’t even offend your picky eaters! I love how easy homemade mac and cheese is, but it’s also SO versatile.
- Side Dish:
- Crispy Baked Chicken Tenders — I consider myself to be somewhat of a chicken tender connoisseur (yes, even as an adult!) and these are a delicious way to add some protein to your main dish – these are tender, have flavorful breading and the outside is crisped to perfection.
- Brussels Sprouts — I have a few different flavor recommendations for these. Take your pick because any of them will go great with your creamy mac and cheese.
Wednesday
- Main Dish: Ham and Spinach Quiche — Quiche is such a popular dish that we thought “why not have it as a main dish for dinner?!” So, here we are. It’s just 7 ingredients and it’s seriously so simple! Make sure to read the full instructions because I have a great tip for extra creaminess.
- Side Dish:
- Burrata Arugula Salad — I crave this salad all year long but especially in the warmer months. It’ll remind you of a tomato-basil-mozzarella salad, but so much richer!
- Simple Arugula Salad — I love baby arugula tossed with a drizzle of olive oil, some lemon juice, and a pinch of sea salt. You can also try my vinaigrette.
- Garlic Roasted Veggies — You can use whatever veggies you have in your fridge. The seasoning is the star!
Thursday
- Main Dish: Million Dollar Spaghetti Bake — The only thing better than spaghetti is this spaghetti bake! It is hearty, filling, and great for when you need to feed a crowd.
- Side Dish:
- Garlic Bread — A crusty garlic bread is a must with any type of pasta, but especially spaghetti bake.
- Garlic Parmesan Broccoli — The rich flavors of garlic and parmesan make this broccoli almost addicting because it is so good!
Friday
- Main Dish: Ground Chicken Sloppy Joes — Say hello to your families new favorite dinner – just 20 minutes for a super quick and delish weeknight dinner!
- Side Dish:
- Baked Potato Wedges — You can also use sweet potatoes if you prefer.
- Chef Salad — Crunchy romaine lettuce, cubes of provolone cheese, eggs, avocado, tomato, croutons, and a dressing of your choice. I like my buttermilk dressing 😉
- Dessert – Lemon Meltaway Cookies — It’s been awhile since we’ve made these little bite sized pieces of heaven. These cookies seriously melt in your mouth!
Appetizer
- Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders — Maybe the best kept-not-so-secret-appetizer I have on my website! They are everything delicious in one convenient handheld package and always a winner. Pro tip – Use rotisserie chicken for an extra quick appetizer!
