Family Meal Plan
Meal Plan – Week 216
MONDAY
- Main Dish: Crock Pot Turkey Tenderloin – If you’ve never made a turkey tenderloin before, you are going to wonder why because it is so delicious. It’s so juicy and flavorful!
- Side Dish:
- Kale Salad – I know what you’re thinking – Kale, UGH. You need to try this though because you will hardly even know you’re eating kale!
- Mile High Biscuits – You will never want another buttermilk biscuit once you’ve had these!
TUESDAY
- Main Dish: Blackened Fish— All you need is 10 minutes and you’ll have perfectly seasoned and juicy fish.
- Side Dish:
- Lemon Rice – This quick staple side dish is as delicious as it is easy!
- Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower – This goes with just about anything, but especially the blackened fish.
WEDNESDAY
- Main Dish: Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta Bake — This is a family favorite because it’s a mouthful of deliciousness! It’s my favorite because its (basically) one pan which means clean up is a breeze. I also have a lighter version of the Cajun Chicken Zoodles here.
- Side Dish:
- Side Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette – A 5 minute dressing that will have the family asking for more veggies? Yes, please! Homemade dressing couldn’t get any easier.
- Garlic Cheese Bread – If you’ve been here a while, then you know I love some good bread! This one is an A+.
THURSDAY
- Main Dish: Ground Turkey Vegetable Skillet – I absolutely love this recipe because you can feel 100% great about what you are eating. It makes great leftovers and is extra protein and veggie packed!
- Side Dish:
- Italian quinoa salad – This is an easy prep ahead salad that will go great with the ground turkey skillet meal. I love it even more for an easy lunch the next day to go alongside your leftover turkey vegetable skillet!
- Pasta – Serve it over any pasta, even ravioli or tortellini, for a kid-friendly dinner. Spaghetti squash is also tasty and a great keto-friendly alternative.
FRIDAY
- Main dish: Crock Pot Hot Dog Chili—It’s summertime! This chili is the perfect set it and forget it, delicious way to top your hot dog on a lazy summer night or at a summer cookout.
- Side Dish:
- Instant Pot Corn on the Cob – Use those handy kitchen appliances to make dinner 100% hands free and super easy!
- Summer Fruit Salad – This cool, refreshing salad is the perfect side for a summer meal.
- Dessert — Glazed Lemon Scones—I know these aren’t technically a “dessert”, but they are technically delicious and a great treat anytime of the day! Scones sound intimidating, but even if you’re new to baking, you can easily make these and impress yourself!
APPETIZER
- Honey BBQ Meatballs – For a recipe that is so simple and hands-off, you will be surprised at how tasty these meatballs are.
