These Baked Chicken Tostadas are a Mexican night favorite! Crispy tostada shells are layered with refried beans, salsa chicken, and melty cheese, then finished with lettuce, pico, and a drizzle of sour cream and lime juice. Just 10 minutes of prep needed!
To prep the ingredients:In a large bowl, combine the chicken, salsa, and taco seasoning. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream and lime juice.
Place 6 tostada shells on a sheet pan. Spread beans over each shell. Then layer with cheese and a scoop of the seasoned chicken and any additional cheese on top. (I like to layer meat in between the cheese so that it all kinda sticks together and doesn't fall apart when you bite it.)Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the chicken is heated through.
Once they are done, top with shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and drizzle the lime sour cream over the top.Serve immediately and enjoy!
