For the Cheddar Bay Biscuits
2 ¼cupsBisquick
½cupcheddar cheeseor more to taste
⅔cupmilk
For the garlic butter topping
2tablespoonsbuttermelted
¼teaspoongarlic salt
¼teaspoondried parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375˚F.
In a large bowl, combine the bisquick biscuit mix, cheddar cheese, and milk. Mix just until combined and no dry spots remain.
Drop biscuits by heaping spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the centers are cooked through.
While the cheddar bay biscuits cook, whisk together the melted butter, garlic salt, and parsley.
Once the biscuits are done, remove them from the oven and brush them generously with the garlic butter. Serve warm.
Notes
Makes 8 biscuits.If you want them extra buttery, you can double the butter mixture and brush them before and after baking which will produce a more crispy fried edges on the biscuits.
