These Asian Turkey Meatballs are easy to make and packed with flavor! They are great served over rice for dinner, or as a hearty appetizer for a party!

Ingredients
For the meatballs:
2lbsground turkey
2/3cuppanko bread crumbs
1large egg
3tbspsoy sauce
1/2cuponionfinely chopped or grated
3tbspfresh cilantrominced
1jalapeño pepperribs and seeds removed and finely chopped
4garlic clovespressed
1tbspginger paste
For the sauce:
1csweet and sour sauce
1/4cupbarbecue sauce
1/4cupsoy sauce
1tbsprice wine vinegar
2garlic cloves minced
1tbspsesame seeds
Garnish
Sesame seeds
chopped cilantro
chopped green onions
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350˚F.
Mix the bread crumbs, egg, soy sauce, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a large bowl. Add the turkey and work the meat until it is evenly combined with the bread crumb mixture.
Form into 2 inch balls and place evenly spaced on a cookie sheet. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach 165˚F internal temp.
In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the sweet and sour sauce, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, garlic and sesame seeds until it just begins to boil and then remove from heat.
Once the meatballs are done, mix them into the sauce and stir gently to coat. Serve warm garnished with sesame seeds, cilantro, and/or green onions. Enjoy!
