Ingredients
1lbbrussels sprouts
1tbspolive oil
1/2tspsalt
1/2tspground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425˚F.
Remove any yellow or brown leaves from the outside of the brussels sprouts then cut them in half.
Toss the brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. You can either do this in a bowl, or right on the sheet pan to save dishes.
Arrange brussels sprouts cut side down on the cookie sheet. Don't worry if leaves fall off. They get extra crispy and delicious in the oven.
Bake on the lower oven rack for 15-23 minutes or until the edges are browned and the center is tender. Cooking time will depend on how large the brussels sprouts are and how tender you like them. Leave them in less time for more crisp roasted brussels sprouts, and leave them in longer for more tender brussels sprouts with crispier outsides.
