2poundsground turkey
1large onionfinely diced
For the ground turkey seasoning
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonpaprika
1teaspoonthyme leaves
1teaspoonoregano
1teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoononion powder
Instructions
To make the turkey seasoning
Combine all ingredients for the turkey seasoning mix and stir well.
To make the seasoned ground turkey
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the ground turkey and onion to the skillet and cook until the turkey is no longer pink, stirring regularly. Break apart the turkey with the spatula or spoon as it cooks.
Drain any excess fat or liquid, then return the ground turkey to the skillet and reduce heat to low. Add the seasoning mix and stir in until all of the meat is evenly coated, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from. heat.
