Ingredients
5poundspotatoes
6clovesgarlic
1cupchicken broth
1cupsour cream
1/2cupbutter(1 stick)
1.5teaspoonssalt
1teaspoonground black pepper
1teaspoonoregano
1/2cupmilkadd to desired consistency
Garnish
chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Wash the potatoes and add with skin to a large crock pot. Add garlic cloves (whole) and chicken broth.
Cook on high for 3-4 hours, or low for 4-5 hours, or until fork tender.
Add sour cream, butter, salt, pepper and oregano. Mash with a potato masher, mixing in the butter, sour cream, and seasonings as you go.
Once combined, stir in milk until the mashed potatoes come to the desired consistency. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
