Ingredients
2poundsground turkey(I use 93/7 lean ground turkey)
Squeeze the spinach to release as much moisture as possible.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except olive oil. Use your hands to work the meat mixture until everything is evenly distributed throughout.
Form the mixture into 1/3 pound patties, about 1 inch thick.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat with half of the olive oil. Once hot, place patties in the skillet and cook without turning for 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook for 4-5 on the other side or until the burger is cooked through 165˚F internal temperature.Remove the patties and cook any remaining turkey burger patties in the same way adding remaining olive oil as needed.Alternately the burgers can be cooked on a grill for 4-5 minutes per side.
Once done serve on buns, in a pita, wrapped in lettuce, or in a bowl. Enjoy!
